  1. Who needs Huttball when every other match is a Hypergate
  2. I've been playing this game for quite a while, since 1.2, casual most of the time, with some bursts of dedication. I've enjoyed it greatly most of the time, I mostly PvP and GSF, I also used to PvE back when HM FPs were fun. This will sound like nostalgia, but the game used to be almost perfect (during early 2.x) I still consider it to be a great game. But it has poor management, which allows for certain portions of the game to be neglected. PvE With the current difficutly, you can only do so many times the same FPs before you are mindlessly run through them with little to no effort, with the exception of a couple FPs that have gear checks, but no engaging mechanics (Korriban Incursion). Long gone are the days when you could wipe on trash, or die to boss encounter mechanics on HM Lost island. There is no real reward, besides the carrot on a stick known as Gear Progression, to do PvE content. I won't mention OPs, I do not enjoy them because I don't find them interesting. Possible solution - Make PvE rewards tie into other parts of the game (the current Alliance grind is a good example of this) GSF Bioware allowed this amazingly fun part of the game, to be drained of its fun by the unrelenting tactics of meta-oriented teams. In other words, virtually every game revolves around who has the most Bombers and Gunships. In no way I consider those ships to be overpowered (as some would claim), the problem is just that they stack too well. This portion of the game has grown stale, what used to be an extremely fun, (relatively) skill-based dogfighting game, has become a game dominated by slow moving, area denial ships (Bombers) and stationary, sniper class ships (Gunships). There is no more dogfighting. Possible solution - Meta changing balance pass. PvP I am a PvPer at heart, that means PvP is its own reward, this also applies to GSF. However, this means that the process (of participating in PvP) must be fun and enjoyable. But in a move (or lack thereof) similar to what happened to GSF, Bioware has allowed the game to grow stale because of lack of balance. Some tactics/compositions are just too effective, this causes some ACs to feel meaningless, redundant, specially when you have skank tanks (tanks in DPS gear) that have higher burst than some pure DPS ACs, while retaining the complete tank utility kit. Some ACs are too easy to use, so much that even one of the most skilled Sage/Sorcerer player in the game (several times #1) acknowledges that his class is probably the most overpowered there is right now. Possible solution - Frequent, small balance pass. I am part of a good PvP guild, however all my friends have left the game, I feel sad because it's finally time to move on, I am unsubbing for the simple reason that I can't stand another mindless FP run or another GSF match completely stacked for one side (even if it's my side) and I definitely can't tolerate yet another PvP match filled with Sorcerer healers and skank tanks. Bonus: Strongholds I love Strongholds almost as much as I love PvP/GSF, I have spent more credits on decorations than on any other part of the game. I have just one complaint, some decorations should drop from open world mobs, for example champions on Alderaan dropping themed decorations. Random musings - Those new cartel packs, just wow. - Adjusting your game so even low skill people can play it and have fun is good, but you ruin it for the rest of us (that don't enjoy rolling FotMs) when said low skill people can perform at the same levels of top tier players I could solo putting real effort several patches ago (talking about healers) - Lack of communication - I'll probably be back for a month when all the KotFE chapters have been released. GG Bioware, you finally beat me.

  4. Anyona can crit with Focused Burst, but being able to keep putting pressure (thus reducing your FB cooldown) is something you need to do to actually say you can play Focus well. Vigilance right now is just a matter of applying your DoTs and spreading, which means you just need to learn positioning, so it is easier.
  5. About Kylo's lightsaber found in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens visual dictionary http://io9.gizmodo.com/all-the-backstory-you-desperately-want-to-know-about-th-1751196966
  6. Run content with companions as DPS role, otherwise it's so easy you could just fall asleep.
  7. It doesn't, but some things (like character stuck on loading screen) can be fixed without having to wait for in-game cs.
  8. No, unless your internet service provider charges you by the amount of data you use (metered connection).
  9. Legacy gear is a type of gear that can be sent to other characters on your account that are located on the same server. It's useful because it allows you, for example, to work on the gear for your Mercenary and send it to a Commando. In that way it eliminates the need to grind for gear twice. Now thanks to the changes to main stat (now everyone uses mastery instead of their own personal stats like willpower or aim) you could use it on a totally different advanced class, while it's not optimal, it's practical.
  10. If you hover your mouse over the item, you can see on the bottom of the hovering tooltip how to do it. Ctrl+Right click on it to open the modification window.
  11. Just make sure your device is connected to wifi (it needs internet) to avoid any charges.
  12. You should always transfer the armoring/mods/enhancements to legacy gear which should be augmented. It will cost you close to 250k creds just to transfer everything, but it's necessary. Besides with a full group, you are looking to earn several millions on heroics each week, so creds shouldn't be a problem.
  13. You are better off calling directly to CS, it's based in the UK so to avoid charges you could install something like MagicJack on your smartphone. 1-855-345-2186 It takes about 15 minutes (usually faster) for them to answer your call.
