  1. Def use Risha when available, I did sawbones from 1 to 50 and it was quite easy. Some bosses were challenging because I did them underleveld, but pistowhip for UH and EM medpack keeps you going for a long time, just a matter of keeping aggro and wearing the boss down.
  2. It's not tankable if he randomly chooses targets to stomp/cleave on but I suppose you want the following answer, use defensive cooldowns in which case every class can tank it!
  3. If your group isn't having problems with dps & enrage timer it is a great help to use transendance speed buff everytime it's up. The boss is all about positioning and quick movement after all
  4. Good that you guys found this out. Hopefully this wil be adressed in the next patch, need some sentinel love!
  5. Hmm about Cyclone Slash, I tried it a few times and I thought it only applied a saber charge to one target per cyclone slash (eventhough it obviously hit multiple targets) Just an observation never tested it completely. Also Sweep is a force attack (torhead not working for me at work to double check) so that won't give off a saber charge I understand what you mean with healing numbers though, i've seen people talking about way more % to party heals, so i'm wondering if they misread and combine the two skills or if i'm not understanding it. Breaking down Zen though: -Zen lasts for 6 charges -Juyo form: Increases the chance for your burn attacks to 100% crit and heals the party for 1% of max health per tick. So 6 charges = 6 burns = 6 crits = 6x1% max hp returned. The other skill we get only applied to ourselves, merciless zeal which always will give % back on a burn crit. This should not apply to party during zen though. A stack dot will give the same number of health back then a single dot, because the effect is activated on any critical burn, and it's health returned is based on % of max hp. Hopefully I answerd your question
  6. Yeah I am talking about merciless Zeal, but not form using Zen. I mean when you use cauterize everytime it's up, while trying to get the 3 stacked saber for as long as possible, you have alot more burns, because of cauterize, and any burn that crit will give back 2% health
  7. It seem it would come down to this Keeping 3 stacked saber up for long period of time, and not using cauterize (or minimal use, it will depend on focus costs from filler skills and how often zen can be used) so Zen gets maximal damage output. or Keeping 3 stacked saber up using cauterize as a saber charger, Zen will have lower damage output because it uses the lower damage from cauterize aswell. second would give more health back to yourself I am really curious if there is a big damage difference
  8. I am trying to figure out the following though: When 3 stack saber is ticking, and a Cauterize is ticking, and then zen is used.... Which burn tick does zen take to crit and heal, and why? It is so hard to see because the numbers go by to fast, but to me it SEEMS that the zen crit is always the same number, so therefore I have been thinking it is always critting the highest burn, the 3 stacked saber burn. Any thoughts on this? because wouldn't it be awesome if this was the case, then the method mentioned above could include cauterize without a problem and increase damage overall? edit, i'm asuming that I have the 3x saber tick up for the same time, or longer then cauterize with this scenario edit2 I supposed I confused the saber ward 'effect cannot occure more then once per 1.5 seconds' with zen, it simply takes every single crit, so the 6 charges are gone within a second, and it just takes the crit in order it comes.
  9. This is interesting, doing it the way described can give you a very long 3 stacked saber dot, trying out some different ways and with no presure you can get very nice results like this
  10. I think this is quite a key points, i've been working on it for a while to get the highest numbers out of Zen. Because we get a % damage increase with crits, we should apply it on the highest dot available, with the overload saber crits, sounds right, right?
  11. @blackfriar Hmm wow where to start, I don't want to flame you but you are saying things that are not true. (45 sentinel) Damage reduction tools: 12 second 50% mitigation, Saberward, ~30 second 20% mitigation, Rebuke 5 second 99% mitigation, Guarded by the Force, 6 second 90% accuracy debuff, Pacify also you can use Force Stasis as a stun, except on high end targets. Threat control: Force Camouflage, very powerfull timed right you can walk though a pack of mobs without aggro. Adds controll: Droid CC Awe blinds/stuns pbaoe Add in health pots, Doc as a healer and you can stay alive for a while. Not supposed to be able to solo everything in the game so can't expect to have every tool. However sentinels do get enough tools to work with imo.
