Is it me? Or is this completely buggy? I know I have placed my phase walk several different times (this is in wz's) and then when I go to use it I'm recasting it in place like I never originally placed it. This literally happened 5 minutes ago. I jump out of voidstar, place my phase walk, running around DOT'ing people up, need to use phase walk and there I am, like a complete idiot, casting it in place. Does electronet make it go off (even tho I know I wasn't electro'd this particular time) Anyone else having issues with it?

Can you please explain to me how sorc dps does not have to worry about positioning as opposed to sniper/merc? Do you really run into the middle of the pack and face tank as a sorc?

I feel you man. I just re-subbed after about a 1.5 year layoff due to class balance at the time. (Got even worse? Lol) And for whatever god forsaken reason, I love pvp in this game. Just came back from WoW and even though me and my buddy could get que pops all day long, we just didn't enjoy it as much as SWTOR. Maybe because we're SW nerds? But seriously, this whole DCD thing is a nightmare on top of other class imbalances. It's like all they are worried about at this point is putting classes in front of dummies and getting their dps close to each other. That's not enough when it comes to pvp. The real problem is, it takes them months upon months to address any issues no matter how game breaking they are. I don't know how you people put up with this lol. I will not be re-subbing after my game time is up which is unfortunate, I really, really, really wanna play this game.

Still struggling and working on getting gear. I miss the old days with the pvp gear vendor where I could get a toon maxed out in pvp gear/aug's in a week, even less if you hit it hard enough. This grind though..... I still don't see how it's possible to 1v1 a merc or sniper as a madness sorc unless they have absolutely 0 DCD's. I actually enjoy being outplayed/outplaying others but there seems to be zero counterplay especially to these 2 classes. Anyone have any tips?

I just re-subbed like 3 days ago. Been about a year + since I played. My main was an Arsenal Merc in pvp with Madness being a close second. It's funny that at that time I loved Merc dps but they had crap DCD's, look at em now!!! Madness was also pretty strong then as well. My gear obviously is not that good, still working on just getting 230. Is there a significant damage increase when at 248? I feel like after I get my Creeping Terror/Aff, Deathfield, and a proc'd Demolish my dot's don't do jack. By that time, whoever it is, realizes I'm hitting them and they proceed to kick my face in as I have to stand there and hard cast Force Leech or Force Lightning. I've been getting a lot better at kiting but as soon as someone gets to me, I take massive amounts of damage. Would love to see a race between arsenal and madness, facing each other and just free casting and see who wins. Pretty sure the answer is overly obvious there. So please, you experienced, geared madness vets....... does it get better?

Hey guys, I have multiple 65's I plan on transferring just doing my sorc and jugg atm, kinda lost but looking at guides and whatnot. Looking for a guild, plan on being mostly casual as I'm on 10 pm - 6 am shift (EST). I'm a SW fan thru and thru so I just had to come back. Played WoW pretty hardcore for the last several months but grew to hate it with a passion along with most of the Blizzard games. Really enjoyed all aspects of this game when I last played especially pvp. (Ranked- not so much) Anyways, hi Harbinger.

If you left 2 years ago because of lack of balance then you have absolutely no reason to come back. It's probably worse off now then it was then. I hate to deter a player from coming back but that's just how it is my friend.

I've killed all types of Juggs as well, missing DCD's. You will not beat a Rage Jugg 1 v 1 unless they are complete crap at the class or have no DCD's available. Even then, it's still gonna be rough. You cannot kite them especially if they have certain utilities. Everyone says kite them or mez them or stun them when enraged defense goes up. Good luck even getting them to that point as a Merc. Someone show me a video of a Merc soloing a Rage Jugg. Someone that actually knows the class. Not trying to be an *** here but it seriously cannot be done.

You guys are definitely making me want to attempt to master IO after running Arsenal for so long. I'm currently leveling a Commando AS (currently level 40) just to get a better feel for the class. Once I hit 65 and get a better handle on things, I'll switch my Merc over to IO. Thanks for all the tips and comments so far. If someone would like to break down their preferred single target rotation and AOE rotation (PvP) that would be awesome. I've already seen some of your rotations but would love to see more. Seems everyone so far has their own little variations that seems to work for them. I'll probably be posting here more soon with some more questions once I change the Merc to IO and hit my first few WZ's as IO. All I do in this game is PvP so you'll be hearing from me soon. Amen to that. I know we all hate sorc healers but doesn't anyone else find it ridiculous that a DPS Jugg can sit there and get beat on by 3+ other DPS classes and take it? At least for a while. So dumb.
