  1. I am curious what people are focusing on for sniper stats in 4.0.
  2. I took a quick parse of the first boss in todays GF. http://parsely.io/parser/view/64997 Hopefully this is a bit more accurate to real encounters / mechanics etc...
  3. That is what i cant seem to figure out without letting the dots fall or clipping sos so that i can ensure i use cull on cd.
  4. Yeah like i said it was just a quick 2ish min parse before bed. Idealy i have never thought to use rifle shot for anything other than a movement phase. My usual rotation consists of dart, nade, cull, takedown, then series and by the time the chann on series is over id pop cull again. During the times sos is on cd i can usually squeeze in 2 virsnipes and cull comes off cd. I rarely have energy issues unless i spam too many virsnipes and i usually never dip down unless i know adrenprobe is coming off cd soon. I figured if anything rifle shot would be a waste of a gcd for the dmg.

Ill try to upload a legit raid one when i can. http://parsely.io/parser/view/64802 Im sure it could be better, i know i have a really bad tendency of reapplying dots early... force of habit really, i usually panic when i see the dots about to fall which i am sure is giving me a huge drop in dps. -any improvement tips shoot em my way.
  6. Thanks for the replies guys, sorry for the delay. I will load up the parses from our raid this week when i can. I am always iffy about dummy parsing since it is not really accurate due to mechanics/movement/etc... Im curious to see how i do now with the 6 set bonus since i never got a chance to try it out in a current content raid since i got it on our last raid night.
  7. Ello peeps i wanted to seek some feedback from the sniper community as far as getting my numbers up. Ive heard things like... "if you have 192 gear u need 4kdps." and i want to fix my problem. http://i.imgur.com/L6T1TxQ.jpg ^ My snipers stats. 186 relics, main stat augments, mostly 192 with the 6 set bonus(just got it today w00t \o/). ATM i am having an issue which i am stuck at 3.6k dps the highest. On the typical boss fight i end up with something like 3.5-3.3k. Ive tried Dulfy rotations, rotations other people throw at me, etc... and nothing seems to budge that mid 3k+ gripes. I tried marksman, virulence and they both seem to hover at the same dps. If 4k is the norm for 192 dps then someone halp! please! what the crap am i doing wrong!
  8. Thanks! i have no idea how to get a hold of them tbh i spend very little time on these forums... i came up with this idea while sitting in my office at work. I used to work with a lot of level design / moders so i figured i would play with a SWTOR idea. If you want please relay the message. :D:D Thanks again for the great feedback everyone! :D:D

  10. I was curious what the PVP community would think of this idea ive been throwing around for a new WZ. (Please do not troll or flame this post and only offer constructive feedback on the topic do not go off into tangents.) -KAON QUARANTINE- Warzone Map Design Concept(with color pictures! -Image hosted on Imgur.) Warzone Name: Kaon Quarantine Type: Team Death Match with a Twist. Player count: 8v8 -Overview- Teams will fight over 3 terminals that when captured will slowly apply damage to the enemy team. The terminals will only apply the damage for a limited amount of time before they reset(6-10 second duration). All three “Kaon sanitation terminals”(nodes) are separated a worthwhile distance from each other to prevent teams from easily securing all 3 consoles. The two terminals located on adjacent sides of the map activate the sanitation protocols in the center area of the map, while the main center console activates the sanitation protocols on the side corridors. This means that no team is safe from sanitation as the center console will sanitize the 2 adjacent hall ways and will always bring the fight to the alternating objectives. This will allow objective oriented players to get action in their match instead of sitting and staring at a node. This alternating priority system will also be the reason that 2 nodes need to be secured in order to sanitize the center area. When the terminals are activated gas will then leak out and flood the areas they are assigned too. The 2 side terminals will flood the middle area with a “sanitation gas” (damage over time effect) dealing internal damage while the center console will do the same for the side corridors. This will make it so no one area is safe. –No force fields like hyper gate will bar any particular team thus allowing the players to escape the gas and rotate to a safe part of the map and continue fighting. The goal is to promote continuous fighting while eliminating tedious gameplay.(less doors, timesyncs etc.. more PEWPEW!) Whichever team secures the most sanitation “kills” via gas or player kills within 15min wins. If a tie (doubt it via the map design and game type) the victor will be determined by most terminal activations. -Game design Thought Process- I wanted to design a Team Death Match WZ (with a Twist) that would fuel the desire for most people to have a TDM style map while also making sure it is balanced enough that a team which is suffering from a disadvantage can recover with good objective plays. Plus kick *** scenery, creepy audio music, and flash lights for all! Ideally the map is designed to make the sides extremely easy to defend from either team while the center is fueled by the majority of the team going in there and fraging each other. Don't commit too many able bodies to mid otherwise the enemy can secure both nodes and gas the guys in mid. -The Gas Mechanic- The gas is not designed to be a 1 shot kill like hyper gate but more-so a team pressuring/positoning mechanic. The goal is to make the damage enough to force a team to play heavy on defensives and positioning, they can stay and burn healers and cooldowns or they can leave. (In other words, if the heat is too strong, stay out of the kitchen and move to the safe area.) Sanitation Gas :: Debuff 20% healing reduction. 10% total HP in internal damage over 3 secs for 15 seconds or until you leave the area being sanitized. If killed by gas your death animation is replaced by the rahkghoul plague death animation. -Conclussion- Thanks for reading, please feel free to let me know ways of improving the map and the play style. I could've gone with something crazy but over all was going for a simple and fun and not clutter things with craziness. Hope you guys like it. .

  14. lmao.... -pretty sure the first game to limit me playing with friends will be the last game id load. That said, its an mmo it doesn't promote "loners" if you want to be a loner go play a single player game.
  15. If i can't use my nades then i don't want the use of: stims adrenals medpacs. Ps. All of which u can buy easily and cheaply ill have you know. hell it took me less than 20 mins to get the grenades so i can make it and give it to alts lol.
