Can SWTOR No Longer Even Afford a New Flashpoint? Just Grind Systems?
Toraak replied to arunav's topic in General Discussion
The funny thing to me is whenever they do something to make the graphics better, they in reality make them worse. There are so many places in this game now where the lighting is just horrible. R-4 is one example of this, as in hive queen. It's difficult to see where your even walking in some spots because they decided (poorly) to remove a graphics option that lit everything up so people could see everything easier. Return the Very Low Graphics settings!!! -
Guess I missed that or didn't see that post.

I agree with this, however they need to make sure ALL of the quests are available. When I took a character that had not done Ossus storyline, all of the quest that would have been dailies (from the story) were not available. A couple of examples of this is the Microbinocular quest, the quest after you see Malgus alive again (clicking on the 4 yellow ground items) These were some of the ones I put into my Daily quests when I did Ossus normally, and were not available on a toon that had not done that story yet.

Daily area's should be less about being tied to the story, and just areas for people to do Dailies. The minute they tied them to the main story (which not everyone will like, and do on alts) is when they made a massive mistake.

Truthfully this was a very good change. I have so many alts, and I don't run 90% of them through the new storyline. This allows me to do the newer daily area's on more then 1 character. In fact I've only run 1 character through Manaan, ruhnuk, and kessan's landing. Most of my characters stop around the point of mek-sha story ending.

And PvP Season 6 announced. Once again, the Devs failed the GSF community. Yes I know, I'm starting to sound like a grumpy old A******, after almost 7 years of GSF being ignored as a community.

The last GSF update was patch 5.5. Which if I remember correctly was Oct/Nov 2017 ish. That community has truly been ignored, which is why I keep pushing for GSF to be added to PvP season's. 3 TDM objectives, 3 Domination Objectives. GSF is pure PvP after all. -

Considering that MM FP's aren't run that often by the community and we did just get a new FP last year, I'd personally want a new Operation or GSF update more. GSF hasn't been touched since patch 5.5, and the last Operation came out a while ago. Being R-4. I'll admit because of how the gearing system works I haven't even bothered with Shrine of Silence on Solo or vet mode. I tried it on the PTS, and found it to dark graphically and have no interest in running it. It made me want my Very Low Graphics back when I did it on the PTS. -
Until they add GSF to PvP Seasons, PvP seasons means nothing to me. No reward they'll put in will matter to me.

probably about the same timeframe, then you had to wait the reset timer. Personally I was only getting between 1-3 blueprints per reset. As I said with the timer for resetting the instaance and only getting 1-3 per, it just wasn't worth it. Definitely wasn't getting more then 1 per minute with the 2 min reset timer. I got far more doing DK.

I tried the phased area. And found it was just not worth it. I do far better on DK. Luckily I'm done farming those now anyway. Once I hit 970+ I just need to do the weeklies from weeks 8-15 for the 100 weeklies and I'll be done with the blueprints at the same time. And yes I had the gift buff working.

Then that is a problem with the player, and not the game. If the activity isn't enjoyable, then by no means should any reward be worth it. If I don't like an activity, no reward is going to make me want to do it. Games are meant to be FUN, and if I'm not having fun, then I go do something I will have fun doing. Playing a game just because of some reward just brings out Frustration, and anger. In reality at this point your just punishing yourself. You may as well do something you enjoy instead.
