I specifically Re-Subscribed to solely be able to message on these forums on this thread ( so imagine how many others Subscribers that'll return if you consider my idea ) Tactical Items = More Action-Combat Abilities ( i.e. abilities that does not require a target ( some already established abilities are " Cyclone Slash " , " Whirling Blow " , " Gun Sweep " Mortar Volley " , " Force Quake " and others My only request - no more telegraphs ( can you remove them? ) An example " Force Jump " = Just like in the movies, some Jedi and Sith can Jump. An ability that'll look different from the environment. Think of Ataru Form ( ... the Original Ataru Form via acrobatics Blade Twirling: Could be outside of Combat. Could also be an RP gig ( idk ) I know Guardians / Juggernauts already have " Force Leap " , but at least consider it Aim for Jedi Academy's Style Combat. Bring back the Jedi Forms Shi-Cho Makashi Ataru ( Acrobatics .. not a " speedy " form ) Soresu Shi-en / Djem So Niman Juyo ( not the previous one )

  5. @SolarSaenz , Well, thats money their "laughing" away. Especially since this MMO could be their #1 Money-Maker. But by now ... their worse thing is Trust between their Customers/ Players. Mainly since Players/ Customers would normally converse eith Bots ( unless its Customer Service via Phone )

TL;DR: Make each Planet LvL 1 - 70 ; High-Level Players interacting with Low-level players, missions ranging from any & all levels, having some NPCs ranging in between those Levels ( adding more challenging, robust and interacting experience ). Expand the SandBoxes - add-on to the Map, allow players to explore further into the Planet. Am referencing this post http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9322167#post9322167 Soo EA/Bioware, not sure if you noticed but older-players did return to the game after hearing of the Server Merge. So please consider doing some things the Players request ? I strongly recommend focusing on each individual Planet and expanding it's content - no more " new planets " for awhile please (because they're too small) , add more content on the current planets ( starting with the LvL 1 - 50 Planets ). Because so far its like this: Planetary-Missions & Main-Class Mission (this got stale quick) ( This is also why Macrobinocular & Seeker Droid Missions was a nice start - even after you finish those the Story-Missions, you can still use those Mission-items outside the Story-Missions themselves. You permanently have it and thus can freely use it whenever you please. In other words ... when expanding the Planets, pretend as though " Planet X " is the only planet to go to and make that Planet function (somewhat) independent ; (for example) if i want to spend an entire day on Coruscant exploring the "Floors of Coruscant" please allow us to do so ( By "Floors of Coruscant" , I'm referring to the Clone Wars Episode where Ahsoka lost her Lightsaber, and she went on a wild-goose chase trying to get it back - this episode actually presented the audience how big Coruscant was - the many Taxis to go to, the many places to walk-about and the many " Levels/ Elevation " to go to - it gave a rough-example as to what Coruscant was. So use that as example, re-watch the episode if you have to. ) ( This link is the episode I'm referring to - pay attention to the environment whilst watching it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4IjcE1HQ9c ) ( If Legends-Lore Comics had better depictions of how Big & in-depth Coruscant is, then prioritze the Legends-Lore depictions by all means ) How does this relate to SWTOR ? 2 big reason why Players left* after launch - Nothing to do (at "end-game) & Some planets being TOO small (lack of exploration) In short, what you do to Coruscant, you can apply that same Mindset to each other planet - slowly, but surely transforming the Journey & Experience of each planet. Because, as of now, the Planetary-Missions & Main-Class-story Missions are very linear. Too Linear. We need missions that allow us to " break-away " from those missions temporarily that'll make the planet feel alive ( not the same repeatable missions that breaks immersion whilst grinding. The only Planet that did something like this was Belsavis - LvL 42 Mission, Bonus-Area missions and Section X, but it needs more ... because these are Planets - not zones. The entire time spent on each planet is literally one little Spec of the Planet if viewed from space ( depending on its size ) ( at least make it planet-like ) Planets only have 2 (apparent) things ... Consecutive-Planet Story Missions & Class-Missions ... that's it. Add other kinds of missions EDIT: Back to Coruscant ... allow each Taxi to be inter-connected via walking. Using the Taxi is great, but just like in the Nar Shaddaa Industrial sector ... you can walk to the Republic Speeder & Imperial Speeder . Allow players to be able to walk to them without having to always take the Speeder. Because while you on that Speeder, and you're in awe of the " Tour Ride " glancing at all the sights ... it really makes you want to explore it. And feel free to add more Taxi Designations in order to expand it ( all being inter-connected via walking too )
  7. That'll only be ideal if they merged all Servers into 1 Server. East Coast & West Coast Players will have relatively similar connections of ( ideally ) <100 ping ... Central Timezones would (ideally) favor in between 30 -70 ping. Mountain-TImezones should be relatively similar ... While OCE/SEA will be the trickiest ... ideally trying to balance staying in between 125 - 185 ping (maybe lower?) In short, if they try to make 1 Big Server instead, then that hardware would need to have something to maximize/extend its reach out-of-the-country ... which unknown of what type of hardware upgrades EA/Bioware got. In any case, post if you have Cable/ Charter, DSL or Fibro Optics ( or whichever ) including the Speeds too I only play on Shadowlands || Fibro Optics || 50mbps || Texas i get 30-50 .... would need to double check, but will do later

You'll basically be allowing for more content to be implemented because you'll have more material to work with. But if that's " too much " ... then at least Semi-Open World. I'm not asking for a " Real " Open-World. But it'll be better than whats currently there - add on to it in order for more content Btw, the reason i believe this will be do-able because this MMO is most funded out of any MMO. So thats why i know this MMO has the most potential. Unless most of the Funding went to Voice Actors ( doubtfully ) ... then this should be fine ... right ?
  9. @KeithKenneg Going to use a Visual Example to try and explain. ( Going to use Nar Shaddaa as an Example ) Nar Shaddaa is know for many " illegal deeds " transpiring. There's gambling, Slaving Trading, the Home for many Bounty Hunters ( not the Class, but in general ) & Smugglers , and other Criminal Activity - if you wanted something illegal, everyone knows to head to Nar Shaddaa. With this in mind, you'd imagine that they'll be tons of things to do on an MMO thats specifically about Nar Shaddaa ( ( and other planets ) - so many people to talk too, so many places to explore, So many crafting materials to find ( etc ... ) ... never knowing who you could run into. The only Elevators that does have it are the Instanced Areas. But these was just an example The area that i " painted red " , is the Area that is never used - its just ... never used. DO SOMETHING WITH THIS AREA - use it, expand upon it. And when you do, put activities within that Area for ANY LEVEL to do. You can add more exploration, allowing Players to go " up-&-down " and actually explore a " Planet-like " places. Nearly every Quest is instanced, thus not having any other Player interaction ... possibly only asking for " help " from other Guild-mates. Don't just put Repetitive Missions either.
  10. Let me guess ... Umbra isn't going to be an " actual Planet " - not even " Planet-Like ". Instead, its going to seem reminiscent to a Small-Area. Having Content only for Level 70s ( Probably the Size of Ziost or Oricon, with practically no Exploration ... if any at all ) All caged-in with Invisible barriers & another Daily-Quests Hub that's going to be forgetten ( and stale ) after about 2 - 3 weeks. Lastly, with a forced-upon story ... followed by a Flashpoint that'll also get repetitive & stale. Thus, replacing every other Quest-Area and soon to be emptied ... just like Makeb Dailies, Oricon Dailies, CZ-198 Dailies, and Yavin 4 Dailies , etc ... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just ... please Build-upon what you already have - expand what's already there for other Planets.
  11. All of those Arguments are events depicted in the Moves - Epiosdes 1 - 6 . You did mentioned the BrotherHood of Darkness ... but not a good way in how it was used. You do realize that the Events in the Movies was the Republic at it's worse, right ? Even the Mandalorians claim that the Jedi are the most worthy Opponent - not the Sith. Even if so ... its kinda hard to compare the 2 tbh - the Sith would be too busy trying to kill themselves while the Jedi can just watch
  12. DF, DP had a build-up from past content. They were first introduced in the Sith Story-line, then teased in Section X, and even Scum-&-Villainy. Thats probably why those 2 OPS had more impact. RAV & TOS argueably had a build-up from Rishi and other parts of SoR Expansion .. which is also probably why those had impact too In short, while i do believe more group content should be added, i think other Areas of the MMO is needed to be re-worked in order for other OPS of the MMO to " flourish " ... because Heroics used to Group-Related Content too, now its " optional " ( hence: Heroic 4 no longer exists ) Including how Planets are practically treated as Leveling-Zones as opposed too each planet being a ... " Stand-Alone Planet " ; each planet having Content & Exploration to appeal for all Levels. ( Above the shorten answer . Below is just examples ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Example: While Tatooine states that the recommended level is ... Level 25 - 28 ( i think that's it ? not logged atm ) .... it shouldn't have a Level Requirement. More like ... each planet being Level 1 - 70. And since Planet-Level Sync prevents the NPCs from being weak ... other elements needs to be brought into the MMO in order for more challenging Content. rather than just Gear dictating every Confrontation in PvE & PvP. EXample: Smuggler has an ability called " Slippery Devil " ( Operative has it too ) ....well thats an Action-Combat Ability. Maybe implement more " Free-form-less Abilities " ( Action-Combat Abilities ) to other Classes that still further emphasizes / expresses their Class . Such as Jedi & Sith being able to freely interact with the Environment ? [/u][/i] i.e. Lift Rocks, " a wave of sand " ( from Tatooine ) , Force-Persuasion of NPCs, Manipulating Water, Breaking Tree Barks ( as shown in one of the Original Trailers ) etc .... But they won't actually be an ability, just ... well, it'll make it more realistic.

( despite it being a " Force-Sensitive-Only " Suggestion ) I think it'll be really nice if the " Forms " were more broad: Ataru Form is only for Sentinels / Marauders ; its only available for Dual-Wielding ... but why can't it be used with any LightSaber ? Same for the other Forms (Hence: Qui Gon Jinn & Shaak Ti ) a bit more Freedom - making it reminiscent to Legends-Lore / Canon ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ EDIT: Something else i thought i should mention ... admittedly, i do not like CXP. As mentioned before, it was a nice attempt, but it incentivizes players in wanting to " Speed-Up " & Rush-through content. The RNG is okay, but *not* entirely RNG ; there's too much emphasis on RNG ( too much emphasis on Random-Drops / Random-Loot )
  14. Maybe consider *not* having each Planet being treated as a Level Zone ? Rather, I'd hope for each Planet to able to " Stand-Alone " For each Planet to have activities that you won't find any other Planet. Sure, each planet is unique, but not enough well-rounded activities that'll give Players further incentive to revisit those Planets. And thus, Low-Level & High-Levels won't have a " sense of segregation ". In other words, add more " depth " to each planet. Thanks

Those Crafting Mission that Players send their Companions to do - is it possible to make it to where the Players themselves can do the Crafting Mission ? i remember one mission where it talks about " Raxus Prime ", but only the Companions can go there. and its a ... " Dissappear & Reappear Sequence '
