  1. The kinetic tech was dread guard relics, for arkanian you want energy tech as kinetic tech does not exist. In the future you want whichever one is tech and benefits from armor piercing so that will be energy or kinetic. *edit: I guess I can't say for sure the kinetic/energy will always be better than the internal/elemental. Doesn't matter, the answer to your question for arkanian and underworld is energy tech.
  2. You could use the coins they give you every month, which makes it essentially free. Or if it's like the other races you could also likely buy it off the gtn with credits.

  5. While I'm sure it's not going to make a huge difference either way. I plan on keeping the damage proc as the constant and swapping the power proc with the power click on fights where there is a burn phase. I need to do some more testing on it but I have seen a bit of evidence to show that the damage proc is helping to proc the power relic as well making them synergize a bit.
  6. Based on no math at all I feel like a single slot of alacrity is going to be worth it. In your AMR example, changing all the alacrity enhancements back to surge and leaving just the earpiece gives you more than 1% alacrity by itself.
  7. The argument is moot, you cannot trade power for alacrity.
  8. It's an old bug they have decided to leave. Inserting and removing a mod strips the "Crafted by..." tag off allowing you to have a chance to learn the schematic .
  9. That was why I brought it up, it seems wierd that it's worded like "once your at cap you can take money out of escrow." It's not for subscribers, they specifically address F2P and Pref players. The subscribers credit cap is astronomical and there would be no reason to put it as a feature.

  11. I would love for them to put some grade 10 mat fleet comm boxes in like they had for the stabs/matrix.
  12. Does anyone have any tips on the fastest way to get reputation with the people of makeb? I ran through some of the dailies yesterday and each one gave me a green trophy. Has anyone seen purple or blues? Maybe a heroic or a weekly or something?
  13. You might start by learning about the stat blocks and how you can only trade accuracy for sure or alacrity. 100% accuracy is actually 110% for all ranged special attack (e.g. anything that's not hammer shot). Feel free to review some parses on that stuff.
  14. It may vary by class. For gunnery commandos at least it outperformed PVE and PVP power relics at the DG level. I wouldn't count it out. 352ish damage every 7.5 seconds or so is substantial.
  15. You may be right, surge is just a slow curve to begin with. I suppose it depends on how much surge the last surge enhancement is worth after optimizing the rest of your gear. One enhancement for 1% alacrity just seem like a bargain to me. More of a hunch at this point.
