  1. Was not going to post again, but this nailed a sore point with me. They have gated the new content, as little I read it is, behind garbage that I have no desire to do. My 75s who have run Ossus many times can't access the new stuff. What the heck is that garbage? I am selfish. I just wanted to run some new content with my wife, we enjoy playing together. I guess I will end up unsubbing for a long while again and wait and see if they every fix this. Edit: I have a bunch of 75s. No Devs, I am not going to run stuff I don't want to play on each of them to run them through the new story and try the combat on each. You screwed alts. W_T_F were you thinking?
  2. Sub since launch with a break a while ago and came back a few months ago. I played WOW for years before SWTOR and a number of other MMOs and have been through many expansions. This is the worst expansion, if you can call it that, that I have ever seen. It is pure garbage. Dear SWTOR, ***? That's it.
  3. I play and sub because my wife loves the game and it is something that we can enjoy together. She has played since day 1 and on many occasions said that she would be here until the plug was pulled. I was shocked when she told me yesterday that she did not even feel like playing anymore and likely would leave after Christmas. She is a mostly solo player, unless we play together, who loves crafting and building alts. The new system has put crafting beyond her and the small amount of content has left her with little to do. It is much sad because she loves the game. I feel really bad for her. I will, of course, be gone when she is. I also enjoyed crafting and it was a big part of my game. I don't feel much like logging on either. The changes are an invitation for us to move on.
  4. Much thanks. Yesterday I skipped crafting and started Ossus and I am not sure how but ended up with a full set of 236 armor. I also checked and indeed found the 230s at the vendor which are easily obtained. There are a bunch of the crafted jobbies up for 1M to 2M credits on the GTN which made me think that they must be selling.
  5. Hi All I have been away for many long years and come back to rediscover the game. As I endeavor to once again earn billions and billions of credits, a question arises that I should probably answer on my own but I am older, wiser and much lazier in this incarnation. That is: Do Eternal Commander MK-4 Implants and Relics sell well or is it a very slow and fickle market? I am on Satele Shan. Much thanks. Baddawg the terrible formerly known as Asbalana.
  6. I have. Last day 01/25/18 although I have not logged in for a while. Gave all my stuff to my wife who will be playing for a few more months and then she is gone too. I have been playing WOW and enjoying the expansion. Have my Demon Warrior going strong in both specs (tank and dps) and really enjoy the combat. Also running a mage for a little variety. Be well all.
  7. Sorry I blew your mind, but I suspect that it was not much of a loss and there was not a loud pop. WOW has not been lately struggling with a loss of subs. That started a while back with the release of Cata and the sub numbers have been on an almost level decline since then. The only interruptions were with the release of expansions. At those times sub numbers jumped up and then over a six months period declined to pre expansion continuing the downward trend. IMO Ghostcrawler was a disaster and led WOW down the tubes. The WOW forums do contain a lot of complaint threads and rightly so. Now that Street is gone, hopefully the new leadership can turn things around. To my surprise, after being away so long I am enjoying leveling a new character in WOW. I still see the problems that led me to quit with Cata, but will play for a while. Yes, WOW is pretty easy and has been dumbed down to the point of SWTOR before KotFE but I still have to hit keys to kill mobs. I am glad you find me funny because sadly I find you pathetic. I would recommend that if you are going to build a straw man off of which to base your attack, you try to do better than your silly post.
  8. From my Accounts Page. Subscription Plans You have 0 days of subscription play time remaining. Your account will move to Free-to-Play status if you cancel your subscription and your paid game time runs out. And no, one play through of the nine chapers settled it for all in my family. We unsubbed and haven't played since. Funny thing is that just a little time away has left me with no desire to come back, not even after the rest of the story is released. --------------------- By the way, we will see the numbers in a few months and see how many people are still subbling / playing. My guess is that it will be less than it was before the expansion which may not make the game economically viable or worth supporting by EA. I don't get people who challenge others who have left or say they are leaving. My experience is that when there is this much unhappiness, people do leave in droves. Right now only EA knows the number who have unsubbed just a few weeks from the expansion. This will probably be my last post since I have 0 days left. That will give those like you the ammo to say the complaints are dwindling. Bye, no you can't have my stuffz.
  9. Well, I must admit that the forum is more fun than the game after KotFE.. After paying for and playing the game since launch I do have an emotional investment. As many others have responded to "call outs" like yours, why are you lurking on the forum instead of playing the game? What you personally think is of little to no matter. On the other hand, if EA/BW had refunded the amount I paid for the unused portion of my sub (after unsubbing) and then barred me from the game and forum, I would have thought that was a good deal.
  10. PS - No you cannot have my 300M+ credits, my 1,200 ACs and cargo holds full of stuffz.
  11. I know that there are many reading impaired people on the SWTOR forums so I will use bullets. 1. Unsubbed from SWTOR because I disliked KotFE. 2. Subscribed to WOW. 3. Now playing WOW. End of bullets.
  12. There other differences such as open alive worlds. Such as having an ability fire off when you hit a key. Such as dynamic climate. Such as swimming; LOL forgot how much fun that was and when I started to play again the first time I hit a lake just swam around for a while. When looking for a quest chain to level I had three or four different areas in the world with their own unique quests. I forgot how nice it was to put on some music and get on my horsey and just roam around and gather mats when not in the mood to quest. They give XP for gathering, I forgot that. There is no level sync so lower level mobs ignore you. Nice. Edit - Loved WOW and was going to play forever until Cata. Terrible, Ghostcrawler expansion that made unwanted and disliked by many changes (sound familiar). As I said, now that Ghostcrawler has crawled elsewhere, it will be interesting to see if they can get back on track.
  13. [quote=Mikahrone;8596544 But what about whole game world beyond that raid? Deserted. Just look at WoW. . That is just not true. I have not played WOW for over five years and am a founder of SWTOR. I've subbed / played SWTOR contiuously since initial launch. Not worth rehashing other forum discussions, but I and everyone in my family disliked KotFE to the point that we all unsubbed. My wife's subscription ran out on Wednesday and mine only has a few days left. Out of curiosity and needing an MMO fix, I tried WOW again. I had characters on three servers when I left WOW. I expected after reading about the decline in subs in WOW to find it a deserted ghostland as you described with a leveling experience much like SWTOR's in that you could play for hours without seeing another player away from the spaceports. Much to my surprise, on each of the three servers, there are players everywhere. LOL, in places they are almost as dense as the SWTOR mob packs. I expected to see a lot of players in Stormwind, a few in quest hubs, and maybe one or two every so often out in the world while questing. But they are everywhere. Even out doing distant (from hub) quests there are many players. LOL, you can get buffed silly just walking down a path. Although the content is not hard, it is has not been uncommon to have other players rush in and help with a fight. I am also seeing a large number of people playing in groups of two and three. I expected the player numbers to drop after the free to 20 content, but I used some of my gold from when I subbed to buy a month subscription and am seeing player numbers hold constant in over 20 areas which are populated by subs. Although my experience is very limited and only looks at three servers, so far WOW has been anything but deserted. I clearly remember why I left WOW, but I wonder now that Street is gone if the game has a chance to make a come back. Could happen if the next expansion is excellent.
