  1. I have two questions regarding all these hypothetical "They just evade me all the time and then I die immediately when the Scout looks at me"-scenarios. 1) Where is your team in all of this? 2) How are they doing damage to you as they're using their rolls, going out of range and line-of-sighting? I do agree that Scouts seem very good in the hands of a skilled pilot. I also happen to think that is true of any ship class. It might be that it's more noticeable with the Scout, as they are - perhaps - the most in need of a skilled pilot in order to be successful. Either way, I find it rather strange to find that those with a lot of kills and few deaths in every match I have been in (granted, a small sample size and very susceptible to bias) seem to be the best pilots, regarding of what class they played.
  2. It is. And I mean that in a very serious, and for the most part, good way.
  3. I assume your significant other, you being a nice guy and all.
  4. I do apologize for not reading the OP correctly in my first response. I had been awake for far too long, is all I have to give as an excuse to that. But even so, if we are talking pre-50 (or 55), then it makes even less of a sense to have 8-man premades being able to queue! There are only three reasons that you should lose in a 4-man premade in pre-50 PvP, and those are as follows: 1) You're facing a superior pre-made. 2) The other 4 have either a) low level or b) very low skill, while the other team is at least mediocre all around. 3) You're off doing stuff you're not supposed to be doing. Or any combination of the above. I cannot stress this enough. If you have just 1 guard on an objective and are using some kind of voice program, that person can easily call incomings and keep them occupied until reinforcements arrive. And not only that, you'll know he'll do it. Add to that another guard and that objective becomes pretty much untakeable by the enemy if you are able to respond to incoming-calls. Everyone just needs to relax and stop throwing their e-peen around and realize that what the OP is asking for is not feasible or fun. I might be the only one, but I'm often having the most fun when the opposition is challenging, and it would either not be that unless you faced another 8-man premade or it would become a slaughter if you were on the receiving end of it.
  5. Why don't you just run Rated Warzones instead then? Problem solved.
  6. You obviously haven't even read the first post? The OP is making a claim that it is in fact a very very low probability that the actual RE-chance is 20%.
  7. It's been debated a while. The tooltip says 100%, the Character Pane says 200%. I've always interpreted it like the tooltip says, that you get 100% (which mechanic-wise could be 200%), but reduced by the attackers Accuracy. This would explain why certain times you can still get stunned or mezzed by abilities.
  8. Making such a statement is tantamount to fraudulent misrepresentation of the truth. There exist hacks in this game. BioWare has on several occasions made comments about this fact and that they are working to combat it. Also, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of video testimonies of such activity. Also, 3/4 of all statistics are made up. With that being said, there seems to be a large part of the population (mostly the casual players, it would seem) that doesn't understand how certain mechanics/abilities actually works. That does not mean that cheating doesn't exist or that they shouldn't voice their opinion on the subject.
  9. You must surely be mistaken. I've read, on these very forums, that they don't do any damage except with Smash! And that ability is easily avoidable and doesn't do over-the-top damage at all. I'm so confused right now. What's real? What isn't? In all seriousness though, this has been "discussed" to death. I'm pretty sure that they'll try to balance it out and that we'll have something else to argue about after the expansion.
  10. 83% of statistics are made up. Also, to the OP, these things do happen. It's probably not that probable that it will happen often, though.
  11. I've lost at least twice in the last weeks immediately after opening the bridge - ending the match, but we lost anyway. Won once as well! So I guess it evens out.
  12. Auto-crit and 100% damage increase. Welcome to Smash-country
  13. Seeing as they don't even give you those Components, I see no real reason to do them at all if you're not interested in PvP:ing.
  14. They are all going to suck, probably equally. But I'd go with an Inquisitor/Consular. At least you'll get Force Speed.
