  1. Got to have somewhere to post while my main forum is under maintenence, plus I would imagine the forums would be the place to check to see if the devs posted any updates about the game/fixes/functions/etc. Idk why anyone believed that whole *can't post after your sub is gone* hubbah.
  2. This, I'm not sure why its commonly used as an arguement. basically if you want to enjoy swtor, don't play swtor is what it boils down to. Which is why I'm not, and I got to say, I'm loving it.
  3. Did you basically just say that bioware made you stay up in the middle of the night? The force is just under the line with this one.
  4. Earth, because its actually alive.
  5. As far as leveling goes, I'd say 6/10. The quests seemed quickly repetitive, and I just didn't have it in me to listen to every last cut scene (it also meant I couldn't listen to music while playing which totally killed it for me). The world was too stale for my tastes, like everything was just being, but not living. I'd say they need to hire 10 people for the next 3 months to do non stop scripting towards making mobs be more active, walk around and chat with eachother, create real wild life, real environment / effects, day/night, just make everything seem more life-like. Can't vote for end game as I never reached it, but I maybe heard 1 good thing for every 20 bad things so I'd rather reach that at a later point in time anyways.
  6. No. Game is dead. (I don't mean its dying) I've played many a game where I'll be walking around and see a shadow of some huge thing above me and freak out. Glance up and see a dragon many many yards away just living it up. (just one example I could go on for days, but shadows + monster pathing really do bring things do life if done correctly) Never found that feeling here.
  7. Yes, I am absolutely positive that they would do better. A) They have MMO Experience (understatement of the year goes to..). B) They created one of the greatest selling games of all time. (it may not be all awesome and jazz now, but it is incredibly hard to find someone who doesn't know what WoW is, unlike someone knowing what EQ is) C) Look at their history of games, success story after success story. D) Thats called a business tactic, they are actually smart enough to steal ideas, unlike Bioware apparently. (Doesn't matter what the business is, you don't have to be the first to create something, you just have to do it better than everyone else) E) If anything they should be rewarded for doing what they've done with allowing additions to the game. They created the ability to add open mods to the game. I highly doubt they did it without intentions of taking the good ideas from the get go. Not only did they create the ability to make the game your own, they created the ability to profit massively from it. F) I don't even need a F, lets see what happens with Titan shall we?
  8. considering the game sells for substantial amounts less online (They literally always haves some kind of special deal going) then in stores I would imagine not even 25% of their sales are boxed.
  9. Personally, I think Blizzard are the only group capable of doing a SW IP Justice. Also to people claiming anything from release to now in involving Cata's difficulty (being hard) .. Lol.
  10. I Would have been MUCH MORE impressed if Bioware was actually able to tell a story, without the need for voices or visuals. Like when I read Ender's books and can imagine characters down to the finest of details, voice and all. Bioware skips the middleman and tosses your creativity and imagination to the curb. Its supposed to be innovative, but its more so a glorified books on tape.
  11. I love when people combat the lack of things to do with "make alts!" aka, confirming in order for this game to be enjoyable, you must not play your character.? lols
  12. Based off of what..? You experience within one server? Forum activity?
