Most of the combat articles have always been about crunching numbers and getting the best out of your characters via gears, but this is not. This is one of the examples that you can improve your play without actually improving your characters. Great read, very informative and new things have been learnt. Kwerty, I have been trying out Alacrity recently and liking the faster playstyle. I tried it on Carnage Mara in the raids and having a blast, and I will try it on PT on upcoming days. The question is of course, how much is too much Alacrity rating assuming I have in my hands all BiS enhancements and augments ready? There must be some balance between Power, Crit, Surge and Alacrity. I currently have 800+ Alacrity from 2 enhancements and 11 augments for my PT, and I don't notice any difference from using full Aims/Power. In fact, I actually feel it's more DPS average and tons more fun. Thanks.

Just 4 mods til full BiS. That AP parse had really lucky crits, average I got usually is around 4.6-4.7k. Your number seems fine for those gears without any set bonus

I don't know where you got this from, but I have nothing to do with the guides. They were probably worse if they were written by me I was taking time off the game for a while and it seems that Carl has been on his "wall of text" mode. Plenty of catching up to do.

I am full BiS 78s, 100.55% (564 Acc rating), no crit full power for that parse. I am not sure and haven't tried whether running one less Acc enhancement will do better or worse. I am also still slightly confused with the rotation as you can see I used couple of Assaults, while Geese and the other theorycrafters say they don't even use it. Geese even mentioned something like "use fs at 2 ds stacks". I didn't follow his advice, I just smashed buttons, lol. And yes Lift, I am quite excited with the Vengeance changes, but also a bit sad (the fun part is getting back to back Rampage procs, even though that can be rare). Overall though, I am quite happy they changed it so it's more reliable in raid situation where you need that burst DPS.
