  1. It's too early to say that. It does have merits as our Jawa avatar friend has said, but unlike him I'd give it a solid 8.5 versus a 7.9.
  2. Most "video-game review" websites are trash nowdays. Then again, so are most opinions, so one could say not to trust **** nowdays.
  3. Im not sure if anyone knows about this, as I didnt bother reading through all the pages, but... If you're on Vista/Windows 7, I have a possible solution that worked for me! Basically, set your launcher.exe and the actual swtor.exe's compatibilities to Windows XP Service Pack 3. Now everything looks better in game and RUNS better too.
  4. I'm really enjoying the Trooper. Act 1 is slow but it gets more interesting in Act 2 and 3. The Prologue is one of the best though, in my opinion.
  5. Yeah, I remember that. Oh well, I was hoping for an option like that somewhere. I figured the Bounty Hunters or Smugglers would get it.
  6. We know that s/s relationships for companions are being talked about, but aren't currently in game. However, do we know about the current NPCs? Like if I were to make a female smuggler toon, would she flirt with twi'lek girl dancers or no?
  7. Republic PvP is a joke. They are probably just afk farming for the pvp commendations.
  8. I'm more than often on the losing side ( Republic ) so what I see is pretty pathetic. Often times we'll have two or three stealth classes just sitting in one spot outside of the starting zone, or moving around slightly, but generally staying in the back of the battle while the Imperials roll over us. It's not fair that not only do we have to lose, but those players don't even have to try? Is anyone else experiencing this?
  9. Rebuttal based on third statement. I laugh and insult your mother.
  10. For the most part, yeah. I'm getting annoyed personally by all of the December/November 2011 people complaining the most.
  11. Sorry to break it to you, but it's called life. Taking chances at expensive things is something you need to be held accountable for. I spent my 60 dollars knowing full well the game wasn't going to be super polished from the get-go. Also, "wasted"? Video Games are more or less major time wastes, and MMOs are the KINGs of wasting time with a video game. There's a reason a lot of people hold off on buying MMOs, as they don't want to be sucked into doing nothing productive.
  12. Swiftsure, Republic loses 90% of the time. It's mainly because we have maybe one 40-50 and the Empire has 5.' Oh, and we get all the level 11 and 12 people coming in.
