  2. 45+ twinks can be rough, but still, the worst scenario in 10-49 PvP is you'll get killed in 8-10 seconds if it's 1vs1. Instead of 3-4 shotted in the 50 bracket. A skilled level 15 player can also potentially take out 40+ characters. Hard to say that about a fresh 50 against EWM gear. The difference is simply too high.

  4. Shields/Defenses are weak because of the amount you have to put in. 5 points in Shield Chance is only 10% chance, which results in in not having Hi-Impact Bolt procs or armor penetration. You lose the best bursting attack the class has, in exchange for a 10% chance to reduce damage taken by 20-40%, which is only 2-4% damage reduction. Shields specifically, since they have two stats, becomes exponentially better the higher percentages you have. A 20% chance to absorb 20% damage is only a 4% damage reduction. Whereas 40% chance to absorb 40% damage is a 16% damage reduction. In order to get up to that 40% you have to make massive sacrifices to DPS.

  6. I don't really get it either. Has something to do with the matchmaking system. I play Empire and Republic on the same server. Empire has 2-3x as many people. Empire plays against Empire 90% of the time. Republic plays against Republic 50% of the time. ***?
  7. Do you know what the Sorcerer hybrid build is? Seriously. Gives a ton of utility, tons of CC, decent damage, and you can STILL do 200k+ healing a game with bubble and tossing a few mediocre heals.
  8. Knockback + stun is something like 700 resolve. Sorcerers have by far the most ranged CC out of any class, and the most anti-melee abilities. Whirlwind is 800 resolve I believe, which isn't instantly full... either... Most people don't think the healer spec is OP, it's the hybrid spec. Maybe all the Sorcerers thinking they don't need to be nerfed suck?
  9. Pyro has pretty bad survivability. If you think otherwise, you're not talking about Pyro-spec, or don't know what you're talking about. I wouldn't even give it a B-. All they have is non-tank heavy armor, no shield, no defense, and 25% damage reduction on a 2 minute cooldown.
  10. Happens all the time on my server, I'm sure it happens on other servers as well. Just because you personally haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen to others.
  11. The games I've played regardless of whether it's Empire or Republic, the losing team just rolls over after they've gotten their 4 medals. You get like... 2500 valor and 75 commendations for losing, and 3000 valor 95 commendations for winning. Talk about a participation award... Not only that, but many people get less commendations per game, since you only get 4(8) medals. I used to average 100-120 commendations a game (win or loss) and haven't really come close to that.
  12. It really did make things more boring. Got 75 commendations for a loss, 95 for a win. People just give up if they're probably going to lose. Used to get 100-120 commendations every game, too.
  13. It's because of the way that Bioware worded it. They basically said they were phasing Ilum out, and taking out the incentive to go there. 3 kills a game is not incentive to not go there. The 3 kills may as well not even exist, unless you're on a server where you collect crates as an only option, I guess.
  14. If a premade is a group of people that are good, wouldn't a solo queue be harder then? Since you're playing with all bads on your team?
  15. It IS pretty terrible. You can finish the Ilum daily while in Ilum in about 15 minutes. Not.... 150 minutes. Even if you're on an unpopulated server, where Ilum is next to impossible, this is still weak. 50 warzones a week for the Ilum weekly?
