  1. Simple as that...if you crash to desktop, you shouldn't have to wait in a queue again.
  2. I'd go a bit farther...the Trade Federation's invasion of Naboo is a complete success. It's best to leave nothing to chance.
  3. Advanced classes are diverse enough that you may want to play through a class again, just to have access to that type of character. You'll more than likely be one of those evil story skippers by that point though.
  4. Some advice, since you're new to MMO's, don't be afraid to ask a question in general chat. Just take a sec and see if anyone else just asked the same thing. There are lots of question-nazis...don't pay any attention to them...they're just nerd raging and need a nap. There's plenty of friendly helpful people out there.
  5. Ship storage is the same space as bank storage.
  6. You don't have to worry about getting ganked til Nar Shaddaa...the level 20-25ish planet, and even then, it will only be by higher levels coming back for the bonus series (or gank fest). Tatooine is the first planet you'll see same-level folks, and that's 24-29ish. The noob worlds, the capital planets, Taris and Balmorra are side-specific planets. Nar Shaddaa has a common use area, but I believe it's still a safe zone. Almost every other planet has areas specifically designed to put opposing sides in close proximity...those are the ones you really have to watch your back on.
  7. Operative and Scoundrel are your non-force using melee types. Yeah they use guns, but apparently you can throw a rock farther than rifles and pistols shoot. Their cost-free spam shot went from 30m to 15m and down to 10m by the last bit of beta.
  8. You should Google "normalize ventrilo settings"...set it up and it works like a champ.
  9. You can take as long as you want to hit 50. If you are one of those who only ever levels one toon, then there are tons of stories on every planet. I classify the quests on each planet this way: 1. Main story arc...every class has its own unique storyline. I found some less interesting than others, but all were good. While it's your sole reason for being sent to various planets, it's really not a whole lot of content...but definitely worth experiencing. 2. Planet story arc...every planet has one, and is generally more lengthy than your class story arc. It's what sends you to the various quest hubs, etc. I enjoyed all of the planet stories. 3. Side quests...standard fluff, available on all planets. 4. Bonus series quest line. This is something that saw a good bit of change toward the end of beta. Some planets will offer you this line as soon as you're near completion of your class story on a planet, others were offered 5-10 or so levels beyond when you'd normally leave a planet (a change that made zero sense to me), and at least one that reserved its bonus series for level 50 content (which made a whole lot of sense to me). There's also lots of daily quests and such, which leads you to many many ways to level up. You could level up your first toon doing every single quest on every single planet (they'd be grey before you left the planet), then your next, just level up with your new story line, PvP and space dailies. Lots of content...lots of options. Again, though, my biggest fear is what happens when the stories stop, because they will, soon after you hit 50.
