This is a bit confusing, is this ONLY for the force class? I only have three toons on this server, a level 1 Gunslinger, pub side. Level 1 Merc, again pub side, and a level 1 Guardian, I wanted the Juggernaut but this was not an option, the same applies to the assassin for the Sage story line. Why the difference between force and tech users?

Well sadly Tuesday has come and gone and still people are having this issue...

Every time I launch the launcher one of four things will happen: The launcher checks for updates and launches the game fine (rarely) The launcher starts to download 37GB, but goes fairly quick, launches the game then I get a message about a different version than the server. The launcher starts to check for updates but gets stuck there. For option two and three I am able to click on a character and play the game just fine, if I click OK the game closes. Option 4, I’ll close out the launcher (CRTL+ALT+DEL) and relaunch, which usually goes to either option two or three.. When I originally submitted a ticket EA sent a link to repair the installation by following these instructions: https://help.ea.com/in/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-launcher-troubleshooting-guide/ Not much help, as I downloaded the launcher directly from SWTOR.com, and my repair installation is greyed out. Plus per the instructions, I did performa memtext and a chkdsk, which all came back normal. Any option besides complete uninstall and reinstall? Plus I'm worried that these downloads are eatting up my monthly data limit before I start getting charged extra.

Seeing that Onslaught was released in October of 2019 and it looks like there will not be any new story content, ops, or flashpoint within the next six months. Says that in 6.2 new story what about new ops and such?

You can use a blaster rifle on your commando. I use to all the time on my commando healer. However, if you choose to do that you will lose the ability to use Propulsion Round and Hail of Bolts. While as a healer I was willing to give up Hail of Bolts, but Propulsion Round is really nice when you need it. None of your other abilities are affected. However, some will claim you do less damage on a blaster rifle than on a canon.

Dear Community, I'm at a loss right now trying to understand BW's reasoning in nerfing the CF for Arsenal. With the recent nerf I am now pulling about 1.5-2k fewer DPS on ops bosses. Personally, I didn't feel the CF was so over tuned for DPS that it needed adjusting, I felt it was in par with the majority of the other DPS classes. Was it due to healers using that set? For my Arsenal, I was using the high alacrity, the 1.3GCD, since BW removed the crit bonus from the set would it be better to just go to the 1.4GCD and up the crit? I head the Apex set is not that much better. Has anyone tried the Apex set since CF nerf? Better to go high crit with Apex vs Alacrity? Thanks, community.

I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly.... In theory, a player can receive BiS gear without ever stepping foot into a ops or warzone? if this is true, I'm am truly baffled.

I'm sure this topic has already been covered. If so, I apologize. I have a sniper that I'm trying to make look like a Officer of the Imperial. I came across the Spec Ops Headgear (ball cap type) however, when I put this on or the barrette it makes my character appear to be bald under the headgear. Is there a way to have the hair show? under the headgear?

I came across a Expert Sonic Sniper rifle. I like that is has a short barrel. However it is not modable. Is there a similar version of this gun that anyone knows of, that is modable? According to Torhead it does not appear to be..http://www.torhead.com/item/1oGODke/sonic-sniper

I'm not sure if this has already been discussed... On my Merc, when I use my Death from Above or my Kolto Missile, my character at times will turn 90 degrees to perform the action. For example, I'm facing the trash, mobs, boss..and I'll double click my death from above, my character will rotate 90 degrees to the right, I'll be facing right, but my aoe attacks are going straight.. Just thought you would like to know.

Dear BW, I'm on the Ebon Hawk for the majority of my characters, currently 10 of them. With the recent time zone change it has been difficult trying to raid. I'm now looking to move my characters possibly to a west cost server. However, there is an 1800 CC fee per character, which translates to about $15 per character, if I have 10 characters to transfer that is $150. I'd like to suggest character transfer to be free to subscribers. However, I do understand that there needs to be limits..for example you do not want people changing servers every day, back and fourth..so I recommend that each character can be transferred once every 30 days. The primary reason for this is if people are not happy with the server they are on..it is more likely they will just stop playing (stop being a subscriber) than pay the $15 to transfer per character. This would be a great perk for your loyal subscribers.

I just transferred from the Ebon Hawn. On the Ebon Hawk was a chat channel called "Allies" this channel was used for finding people for raids, ie a DPS LFG DF SM or Need 1 DPS for DP HM...and this channel could be viewed on any planet, ship, or Fleet..it was really nice. However, it did require players to "join" that channel, but once you did you were always joined to it even if you log. In addition, you could see when people logging into the server or disconnect from the server...ie Phill joined Allies Channel, or Phill left Allies Channel..it was another nice feature. Also, if you are on a lowbie Alt on Hoth and you can see "Need 1 DPS for DP" you could respond via the Allies Channel and switch toons. I recently asked in General if such a channel has been created for The Harbinger...for the most part people said no...except one person said there use to be a channel called "End Game" but no one uses it.. I'm in favor of creating an Allies or use the End Game channel, but we would need to start spreading the word...

I'm thinking of transferring to The Harbinger from the Ebon Hawk, living in AZ and the three hour time difference has proven to be counterproductive. I have two characters that I'm thinking of transferring over. 1. A fully geared (min/max) Dread Forged Gunslinger. 5/5 DF & DP HM, Server first on CZ HM. I play Dirty Fighting or Sharpshooter depending on the boss. 2. A Mercenary DPS/Healer while not as geared as my Gunslinger I'm still 5/5 DF and DP HM.. Gear suffered as guild wanted to harbor every drop for REing. I would be looking for a guild on The Harbinger. A guild that is well rounded, one that likes to work on progression, but not at the sacrifice of its members (Tunnel Vision). A guild that does offer different progression teams, a 8m or 16m, but at the same time I can log in and find a pick up raid. A guild that helps new 55's get gear up, learn their class, helps with flash points, etc. A guild that knows how to have fun, one that can joke around, troll a bit with each other, can laugh at each other. What guilds are there on The Harbinger that might fit this description? I'd like to check out a few websites..

In my opinion, respectable PVPer would never do anything like this. Most of the time if you are flagged, they will kill you and then move on.. If you ever find yourself in this situation again one thing you can try is to call for help. Switch to /Allies or /PvP in chat and tell them you are being Ganked. You would be surprised how many would come to your rescue. Wait and watch..what you would probably see... is that group of level 55 PvPers that were ganking you (who probably suck in PvP) end up getting their butts handed to them by one real PvPer.
