    Killing things ASAP
  1. I tested it out earlier on the PTS - it appears that both bugs are fixed and will hopefully be live on March 22nd. Marksmanship will get a big buff as a result - it might actually be playable in raids again after.
  2. DPS check is way overtuned for SM right now. Difference in health between the SM and HM version is also only 1million. We wiped but were able to kill it at the very last second.
  3. Love this guild! I'm very excited to see the strategies everyone comes up with in our leveling race to 75! Already TWO DOZEN people have submitted entries to the leveling contest! Lets GO! I wonder how fast the shortest /played time will be during our double XP leveling extravaganza? 10 hours? 5? I bet its half as long as it takes me! If anyone is looking for a diverse mix of friendly gamers doing all sorts of content, I highly suggest you join <Well Behaved>.
  4. I love that this thread has over 10,000 replies and has been going for years and years. Truly a timeless classic. I wanted to share my most recent flashpoint experience with you all. I qued up for Vet Flashpoints on my max geared out merc and got dropped into the Battle of Rishi. Well the first group that is at the end of the catwalk most groups usually walk around, so I started heading around the side to the second group of adds which I see most groups engage. I wait around for the other players to load in and I'm joined by another 75 merc, but then notice a gamer had run straight through into the first group. Oh no! The other merc I rushed back to help, but the player who had aggroed the mobs was panicking. It was a level 63 or so merc that was qued as a healer. They didn't pop any of their defensive abilities and ran straight back towards the shuttle. AWAY from me and the other level 75 player. There was another 60ish level gamer hanging out in the entrance trying to fend off the enemy, but was not able to keep the merc "healer" from going down. The other 75 merc and I mopped up the group and the level 60ish merc rezzed inside the entrance, but apparently this was too much for the non-max level characters to stand for. How DARE the level 75 players walk AROUND a group of adds instead of blundering into everything and destroying all in sight? Both of the level 60ish players then immediately quit the group! As we continued, the 75 merc asked me to reque as I had been blessed with lead, but I had a 50 shae and I knew that with heroic moment and unity we'd be much faster than a random group of 4. We were! My takeaways? Groupfinder has been designed in a way that is pretty punishing to players who aren't experienced in other MMOs and group content before. Gamers who come from just playing through the story in SWTOR are woefully unprepared to hop into vet mode flashpoints that some players have been doing for almost 10 years. It was objectively much easier to complete that flashpoint once those two gamers gave up and left it for the 2 level 75 players to complete. Groups of adds don't even aggo onto you when you destroy the supplies right in the middle of all of them. Because the single player story missions are so easy now, there's no incentive for gamers to get better or learn their class until they get into groupfinders, and then they often give up (like what happened here) or are kicked and it leaves a bad taste in their mouth for no good reason. Veteran mode flashpoints are great for leveling as a group of experienced players, and the groupfinder is wonderful for leveling and getting tech frags and experience, but its not a good environment for new players to que up for if they are not good at following others.
  5. Zorz didn't write many of the old SM operations guides, and actually most of the SM operations were nerfed with the release of 4.0 as well, but there are specific SM guides for every operation, except maybe EV and KP and possibly EC. Zorz only wrote HM ToS and Ravagers, others were written by Hatred members or dulfy.
  6. If you're willing to sell it for less, by all means go ahead and do so. Competition is the fastest way to drive down prices. I imagine if we no longer get applications we'll stop selling because it isn't worth the time to us to do it for less, or we'll adjust prices accordingly.
  7. I hope that your new strategy to cater to more casual players pays off for the company in the long run, but it certainly won't pay off for me. Best of luck SWTOR, will probably be letting my sub lapse.
  8. No we've never had a guild pub side, and our imp guild is inactive, myself and a few others have gone to Failure. Pre 4.0 I was raiding with Paramount but since my schedule has conflicted with RL. I do have a sage/VG/slinger on pub side though that I hardly ever log into, these days I've mostly just been raiding imp side with failure.
  9. Welcome back Monk! Are you playing just on BC? The core of Dark Hunters has since moved to Harby and went our separate ways, nice to see you're playing again! If you're on Harbinger I'd be tempted to see if we can put some PVP matches together.
  10. When 4.0 hit the difficulty increased vastly. What used to be an easy fight in 3.0 is now extremely difficult. I don't think anyone is selling the wings and if they were the price will have inflated to several times as much as they were a month ago. If you really want the wings your best bet is probably joining a NiM raiding guild.
  11. Just a note, they nerfed Revan in HM and it no longer a hard boss. You won't have any trouble with a marauder on Revan. The NiM operations (SnV, TfB, DF, DP, and EC) are the current hard operations. All HM operations are pretty easy now with the exception of a few of the last bosses.
