What happen to our love interested in Onslaught
Ryu_Wanderfalke replied to darkdoctor's topic in General Discussion
Jup, this was quite a bit of a letdown, noticing that neither the old LIs nor the new ones (Lana!) got any lines that even remotely hinted at there being a relationship. Wait, not quite true, I remember Lana kissing my SI exactly once right at the beginning, which did however almost came out of nowhere situational-wise. -
I like the changes to the look and mechanics, I like the return of two certain companions, I like the new locations. The quality of the story is so so, I guess. What I didn't like is that there really isn't a lot of new story and practically no noteworthy new side quests. Considering all the time they had for Onslaught, the length of the new story content certainly feels like a let down.

question on the new amplifiers and current gear

Wow, I actually noticed that feature when I returned after a very long hiatus and then completely forgot about it Thanks for reminding me. -
question on the new amplifiers and current gear
Ryu_Wanderfalke replied to Ryu_Wanderfalke's topic in General Discussion
Yes, I'm one of those as I want my characters to look good and once I've settled for a look, I usually don't change it and just swap the mods. -
I have played the game close to its start for 2 months, have finished 2 class stories back then (SI&SW) and then went into hiatus for years... then decided to come back this year in May. Since then I've taken my two Siths all the way to Ossus and Dantooine and have finished all the remaining class stories except for the smuggler's and trooper's which I'm working on right now before going 'legendary', before taking my two Siths to Onslaught. Finally, I will do KotFE and rest with my JK, before I retire once again. I've always only cared about the stories and traditional MMORPG mechanics don't interest me one bit, which is why I never cared for WoW etc. and never will. Equally, I will never ever watch anybody else play a game if I can just play it myself. To me, this game is still very much alive.

question on the new amplifiers and current gear
Ryu_Wanderfalke posted a topic in General Discussion
Hi there, so if I understand the announcements on the new amplifiers and item shells correctly (e.g. https://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20190829?fbclid=IwAR091tYlGB7LzgbM9DJHFTSVlgyU9a5O3d7w5DHEOt6EqLrBNnr9uA5rcqU ) we cannot upgrade our current item "shells" and thus need to get new stuff to profit from the new amplifier system? So countless mio. of credits or thousands of Cartel Coins have been thrown out of the window or have I missed some info in this regard? Thx. -
whats up with mysterious observers on Odessen?
Ryu_Wanderfalke replied to dipstik's topic in General Discussion
Hey, would be cool if it's them (Scourge and Kira), especially since Kira was the love interest of Dark Jedi and in my head canon is the mother of my Sith Warrior and Inq when it comes to the legacy tree and I would definitely look forward to going through KOTFE with my Knight, but I can't see how people get so hyped about these two observers since there is no hard evidence that they have anything in common with Scourge and Kira other than their gender and approx. stature. -
How many players are there in Europe though I wonder?! If I take German Tulka Hord as measure, on average I would estimate rougly 700 to a 1000 regular players. So including the UK, we would probably be below the 5k mark. Not too much if we are honest.
-
On Tulak Hord (German EU Server), roughly two thirds of all active players are in a guild by my estimate (so I may be completely wrong, but I guess I'm not too far off).

Some people really need to cool their jets. It's just a game. Go vacuum-clean your appartment or take a shower and it should be back online afterwards, if I read the message about the "fix" correctly.

Ah, come on. Sure this unexpected and unannounced downtime is somewhat annoying, but these things can happen when you're changing a running system to a new version.

I like Lana a lot. Easily my favorite *new* companion as her character is believable and all in all they managed to avoid most of the clichés regarding female characters.
