i have another question about damage dealing. When your off your rotation (when theyre on cd) what moves do you use? Like do you use blade storm, slash, master strike?

no lie my sentinel was the first melee character ive ever played in any mmo and once you get used to the keybindings and when to pop what move its a piece of cake

I am so tired of people saying they missed the story. Have fun and do the story. I can't believe how tired I am of hearing that. The story isn't even good. The only ones i listen to are the character stories. The rest are awful and shallow. You get a much better story out of a normal game

Okay so i need to know because im considering quitting due to my 11-17 fps. Is it true that the lag isnt all the computer that its also the game thats the problem. Because if its a problem bioware can fix ill keep playing. Its an old computer computer running window 7, intel core i3 cpu 4098 mb ram and a nvidia geforce 310m. I know i need a new graphics card and a processor, but could just getting the graphics card fix my issues. Thanks

Okay so I'm a 25 sentinel and for some reason the right click mouse turn isn't working. It would great in a warzone i did but outside its barely working and I don't know why. Sorry if I put this in the wrong section i wasn't sure where this would go. This is quite frustrating due to the fact that it is quite important if your melee. I don't think its my mouse although i'll test it when my father comes home with his, but does anyone have any tips or has this occurred with them? I don't wish to reroll the sent because hes so much fun and i enjoy playing him, but with out this being resolved I'll be horrible in pvp. Thanks for the help

yeah wow so for the right click turn to work all the time i need to be above 30fps and im running about 15fps so thats why it doesnt work. Joy I can't be a good pvp sentinel thanks to my fps!

I love my sentinel I just suck in pvp with him due to the fact i can't concentrate and lack of melee experience

by keyboard turning do you mean using the arrow keys to turn instead of holding down the right mouse button to turn. If so I tried using the mouse to turn and more than half the time it doesn't work i dont know whats wrong. Could it be due to a 15fps. I have all my keys bound edit: okay I don't know why holding the right click and moving the mouse only works like 10% of the time and not for very long do i need to rebind something to make it work?

Okay so for every mmo ive played ive been a ranged class. I made a sentinel and he is my first melee character, I'm having problems with targetting and keeping up with the target while trying to pop my moves including the shift ones. Im level 25 and im discouraged playing this character because this is so frustrating. I only end up with 60k-80k damage which i know isnt the main point of a warzone. Any tips?

im level 24 and as i stated this is my first melee character, but i cant seem to get more than 75k, i play the objective and sometimes i end up sitting there out of combat for long periods of time but still, I think like i said i just have a hard time hitting the moving targets

My sentinel is my first melee character in any mmo, is it just me or is it quite difficult to hit people while they move when your trying to hit a shift key lol. Also I know its not the point of the game but how much damage do you have dealt on average at the end

alright thanks man ill give that a go. Although due to my crappy graphics card ive had an fps of around 15 so that may make turning with the mouse difficult. I could always swap the strafe keys for the turn keys to make it easier on me. Ill also assume that when you talk about the "main keys" that they go on the top or bottom quick slot so you can watch the cd. Thanks

with your keybound movements how do you turn your character? holding down the mouse button? Also do you mean by top middle quick slot being the normal quick slot and your main moves are on the bottom quick slot so you can see all the cd?

okay thanks for the help this may be an odd question but it would really help me out. This is my first time doing a melee dps and it seems like its hard to use the shift keys to deal dmg in warzones because they kite you. You don't need to go into great length but what hotkeys do you use?
