I'd bet the "get focused and die before you can get a heal off" scenario accounts for less than 5% of your time in a warzone. I'd also bet the "No one is chasing me, nor am I taking damage" scenario is also less than 5% of your time in a warzone. The remaining 90%+ time is all time where you're taking damage, running from guys, having them peeled by allies, getting heals from other healers, etc. You can't say that HP has no merit in this situation. You guys can feel free to pretend that it's black-or-white, all-or-nothing. Azaranth has done some legwork setting up some profiles, providing mathmatical evidence, and generally backs up his point of view with facts. You guys should try and do the same.

Honestly, what the difference between playing today vs. tomorrow vs the 20th vs any other day? Are you upset people are playing and having fun when you are not? is this some sort of sense of entitlement? or straight up trolling? That's what I don't get about the whining. The OP expresses an understanding of high financial cost (btw the pre-order was $5) but does not have the patience of not always being able to buy what you want right away. That's the facts of life. YOU DO NOT GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT. Time to start getting used to the idea that that video game or whatever you have been drooling over for years/weeks/months/whatever may have to wait because you have a family/job/school/financial obligations. Sometimes that wait is indefinite. Best you learn that now.
