That's the only way I can describe it. Yes, people are running around doing their thing, there are NPC's etc, but, the world doesn't feel organic, alive, something is missing. What is it?? Argggg.... I can't seem to figure out WHY something is missing when technically, everything is there.

At this point, a skinned WoW with light sabers and dialog would be an improvement.

Give it time, people barely know how to get around. The fleet, docking system is totally confusing and gets in the way of traveling. It's going to take a while before people are capped and hanging around and coalescing in certain areas.

The dialog is the best part of the game! Well one of them. However, for flash points that you've done 50 times, skipping would be nice.

They gambled on the animation system, and they lost. Now they need to fix it.

They probably did not, but so much effort went into the animation system that fixing the situation is probably not trivial, so the left it as is as 'good enough' until they figure out what the heck to do.

The staff might be overwhelmed right now because of the holidays and possibly a lot of folks on leave with their family. I know realize this is a 24 hour world but no company has infinite resources and I think we have to be realistic about what might be happening. There is no way they aren't aware of these problems, and probably have been for some time. Maybe they thought that it wouldn't become an issue until a lot of players were getting in to end game content, and by then they would have the situation addressed.

Have you played an Imperial Agent? Try the "cover" ability in combat with other abilities.
