  1. Yes he does. As to the chance of it dropping for your class, all anyone could guess is that it is an even 25% for everyone. Who actually knows though, however, I have seen it drop (just last night and like a week and a half ago when we were actually doing HMs to gear out).
  2. The only 'hard' part about hardmodes is the bugs and enrage timers on a few of them. At least for Republic. Me and my tank friend started hard modes in greens and oranges that ranged between 45-50 and had a peice of champ gear or a lvl 49 epic that was made. We picked up two random people and ran HMs with them for 3 or so days. By day three, we were all decked out and it was even more a joke. That being said, I don't understand the point of the commendations or crystals. First of all, if you aren't mostly T2 by the time you even have enough Tioness to get a single piece, you were extremely unlucky. If you aren't completely T2 by the time you have enough to get a T2 by commendations, you are probably cursed. Idk, so much about this game is a bad attemp at being WoW. Some people are gonna go into a nerd rage and defend this game or insult WoW, but really. If you are going to copy most of the game, copy it properly. Think things through before you just put random numbers down. And before people start going ape shi on me for saying WoW on these forums, I stopped playing WoW and will only re-evaluate that decision when the expansion comes out. I am not a WoW fanboy.
  3. LOL good luck. I Tried for my HM credit and I got a 'Thanks for the bug report' response. On another note, that is only the tip of the iceberg in random bugs that happen on that encounter, and not even close to how much are in the entire operation.
  4. If you can get even a slight use out of a piece of gear, it is more valuable than straight up vendoring it. BoE is slightly different as you can sell it or trade to other players. BoP doesn't need a 'companion roll', but it wouldn't hurt. If you are actually starved for credits in this game, you are doing something wrong. If you really wanted to make rolls mean something it should go in this order: BoP ----- Need (Only if your class can use it) Companion (Only if one of your companions can use it) Greed/RE BoE ----- Need (binds when picked up, only if your class can use it) Greed/RE If you can't see the logic in that, I don't know what I could say to convince you. I think they need to focus on the more pressing issues of, you know, ALL THE BUGS in the game, but this could be a down the line addition that would be beneficial. On a side note, I wonder how some of you feel about my Nadia being decked in full T2 gear, Qyzen in mostly T2 Jedi knight gear (lol... have no JK in the group we roll with for HMs) and my Zenith having some T2 and alot of random epics... actually all my companions are probably more geared than 95% of the players. Edit: And yes, I actually do use my companion for everything but Raids and PvP battlegrounds. Hell, i've even used Nadia in some HMs where moving isn't as much of a problem... and if it is I just micro her or pull her.
  5. First, the first two phases need to be some serious dps to get him into the transitions as fast as possible. If the healers aren't doing anything, they should be dpsing to. Everything should be a real breeze, and fast, until p3. On phase 3 you need to hope for a little luck if under geared, that the mind prison is out before he is vulnerable or that it hit a healer or tank. But really all you do is go around killing mind prisons as fast as possible and a couple seconds before he gets hit by the thing falling, just have ur DPS drop everything and get in position. As long as there is only 1 person in a mind prison at a time (there will be two in there for a few seconds) you should be able to win. And you can beat him through enrage if you avoid lightning balls and have the tank kite.
  6. This boss on hardmode is pretty ***. Not to mention if you fail the first attempt enjoy starting the boss off with *most likely* one man down and everyone at 30% hp. Kind of like SOA and his lightning balls. Just to many with to much range.

  8. I mostly agree that 0/10 are trolls, but the truth is that this game is mediocre at best. Maybe worth a grindy single player game with some multiplayer co-op added in. If you believe this game deserves anything higher than 6/10 for copying WoW, doing it wrong, launching the game with stupid amounts of game breaking bugs, glitches and exploits, delayed skill response... forget it. You're deluding yourself. 0/10 is not a serious score, but it is not far off the mark.
  9. Is this a joke? The experience you get is extremely small, worth a couple quests depending on how long you've logged off. Here's the kicker, it only counts towards kills. I actually find it offensive and disheartening that you claim this is ruining the game. On top of it, i'm insulted that you feel people shouldn't get a couple quests extra experience WHILE KILLING MOBS for logging out. On top of that, you fail to note that if you are in the fleet or a Cantina, you aren't killing mobs or running errands. IF YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING OR WORKING YOU ARE RESTING. You also fail to note that the rest experience you gain while logged off not in a rest zone is extremely low. This is not a problem, this is not anywhere near top 100 of things that they need to look at, and this did not deserve a 500 word argument. You will not out level zones and has at most a single level impact on the game unless you play a character for an hour until his rest exp is up and log out until rest exp is up again. If you are that into the lore of the game, being a level or two higher than the quest or mobs will not kill your experience. You are deluding yourself. Go away.
  10. Holy Christ, i'm not even going to read the rest of the five or so pages because it is utter trash. View yourself as a fan boy or not, to argue that an 18 hour cool down on a skill that has no significance to the game other than allow you to do what you were going to do faster, on a cool down, is asinine. This sheer stupidity in this thread is overwhelming. Also, what would you dubs say to an item that costs 1k, has a 1 hr cool down, doesn't share a cool down timer with your emergency fleet pass, and is a consumable that you can buy and have no limit on? OH WAIT, IT IS IN THE GAME ALREADY. HERP DERP. Its called Fleet pass sold at the security key vendor. Now ****. Emergency fleet pass should be 1hr, these fleet passes shouldn't be in the game, and you should all ****. Enjoy your walk to the flight path - ride to the destination - walk to the space port - elevator and run to the shuttle - shuttle to orbit station - run to orbit station space dock - run to your ship - run to your navigation - run back to the door - exit door into loading screen. Meanwhile, I will press my single consumable that costs 1k, which I have no less than 20 on me at a time, with my 1.3 million credits to restock whenever I need button that allows me to go back the ship when I don't feel like wasting 5 minutes just to get back. Compare it to real life all you want, this is a video game meant for entertainment. Game immersion is one thing, completely unnecessary inconveniences are another.
  11. Has something to do with WoW's engine, much like this game's. Some raid fights I even have to drop my graphics to medium or low just to get around 30 (though I still keep on particles and such). I have a quad-duo core i7, yet in older games I run at low frames when junk hits the fan. Diablo 2, some old FPS games and WoW/Swotr come to mind. Most people who report high FPS are usually people with duo cores with high speeds instead of more with slower speeds. Also seems to be a problem with some of the Radeon graphic cards, and of course the problem other people have with 4 gigs or less of ram having mad memory leaks and FPS drops after playing the game for a certain amount of time (or random, I didn't really look to much into it, it was my friend that is/was having the problem).
  12. Please don't bring your unintelligent dribble into this conversation. I have a computer that is only a year and a half old. I play Skyrim in max graphics, Battlefield 3 in max graphics, World of Warcraft in high graphics, you get the point. This game is not optimized properly. There are memory leaks that severely hurt anyone with 4 gigs of ram or less. There is delay in abilities, delay in movement, delay in everything... with 56ms ping to the server. I'm going to stop going on because I could honestly write a good four or five pages in 11 font on just the bugs and lag. Then another five on everything else. Suffice to say; this game is not complete. They didn't finish it on time and were rushed to push it out. I would have loved for this game to be great, but I don't understand how other people can not see that this game is in beta at the moment. Why are we paying for a beta? Also, unless you have hit 50 and run all the flash points and raids as well as the PvP, don't comment about low bugs or bad gameplay. You have limited knowledge in the game. So, if you hadn't already gathered, I will not be going for another month. I have read some of their future goals, their recent patches and bug fixes, and have come to the conclusion that their priorities are not where they should be. I will be waiting and watching the patches to see if they fix the issues. The overall game play is slightly lack luster to what I thought it was going to be (read: epic), but it definitely has potential. If I find the patches heading in the right direction, even slowly, I will be one of the first to come back. Until then, please stop defending an extremely buggy game that should still be in beta.
  13. This. I would add more, but this alone seems more than the entire development can handle. The last paragraph sums up my thoughts exactly.
