  1. Just out of curiosity, what are your best healing results at Warzone matches? My guildie sorc (3/4 War Hero) have just broken his first two 1kk heals after 1.3 came live. The Civil War 1001398 (924.3 hps) The Voidstar 1074805 I understand that results heavily depend on many conditions, but let's keep it simple Post your accomplishments here.
  2. You have put 33 second part on boss with increased damage taken. Burst + buff. What are u trying to feed us with ?
  3. Powerr, what is your opinion on Shield/Focus debate?
  4. Agree with upper post - it makes sense to get 1 Power 37/Alacrity 51 and 1 Power 37/Accuracy 51. As far as Surge is overcapped, some time reduction to orbital strike/healing and some extra armor penetration seems a bit more usefull.
  5. As far as I see it, Bioware plans to intorduce Cross-Server warzones instead of transfers. But this is NOT going to fix the problem. Dead server = Dead levelling = Dead trade = Dead competitiveness = etc.
  6. Hey Pedia. ( It seems that your Ranged and Melee groupies were lazy ) Just for the record, which rotation did u use knowing that u cannot use back blast? I start with Flachete -> Shoot-first -> Pugnacity -> Vital shot -> XS Flyby -> Relics -> BW - SP - QuickShots/Sabotages while keeping Vital Shot active
  7. As I mentioned, my gear is close to maximum in pre-1.2 environment as I use Rakata (not viable in 1.2 as u need tons of expertise): Rakata Enforcers: Head Boots Belt - Augmented with Cunning +28 Rakata Field Medics: Bracers - Augmented with Crit +28 BM Enforcers: Jacket Gloves Pants Earpiece Blaster BM Field Medics: 2xImplants Shotgun Misc: Matrix Cube 50lvl BM Power Relic Rakata Skill Stim Rakata Power Adrenal I changed all enhancements in my gear to Power/Surge. 2 from Gloves (56), and 3 from Nightmare EV/KP (58).
  8. Up. Waiting from some reply from Developers. Ultimate solution would be to upgrade BM gear as it is modded now. Just add this extra expertise in there.
  9. Before 1.2 it was sensible to put rakata objects to get good stat boost and keep expertise at 450-500. There is a thread on Operative forums for Best-in-slot gear. My current scrapper stats (pre-1.2) self-buffed, rakata skill stim: Cunning: 1766 Endurance: 1413 (16630 hp) Expertise: 453 (9.53%) Tech Stats: Bonus damage: 739 Bonus healing: 532 Accuracy: 101.83% (51 accuracy) Crit Chance: 36.77% (248 crit rating) Crit Multiplayer: 76.55% (351 surge) *Power: 453 I believe that i managed to get close to maximum damage with decent crit/surge.
  10. up. As a melee DPS Scoundrel I needed to remove ALL enhancements from BM gear and replace with Power/Surge ones. And now to get 25 expertise per each enhancement I need to return to 300+ accuracy which EVERYONE agreed as being USELESS. Why? Why did u add Power/Surge to Consulars and left Smugglers stuck with accuracy? Make us a choice. Alternative sets or smth... So now I will need to get extra BM gear from other classes and replant enhancement that have expertise. Am I objective to say this seems unfair? 2 Developers Please read scoudnrel/operative threads about Best-In-Slot gear. WE REMOVE ACCURACY. Listen to us.
  11. Hello from the light side Scoundrel here. Wanted to say thanks to Gendonut for great thread. Keep it up after 1.2. Expertise will be buffed and we will get 5-6 augment slots, so looking forward to discuss what will be best to put there. As both PvE and PvP player, I keep my crit at higher rates (38.7 PvP and 40PvE) to have more sustainable crit damage. But this is just personal preference. It might be a bit late with patch 1.2 coming but imho best waist and bracers option would be to learn armorstech, craft exceptional rakata pieces that will give significant stat boost + allow you to fill 2 extra augments according to your needs (can be cunning, power, crit depending on your under/over caps). I suggest options with lower main stats as u can always put cunning augment if needed: rakata-field-medics-bracers rakata-enforcers-belt It took me 2 days to switch from biochem to armorstech and back. And around 300k credts that is fairly chip. You just need to have around 6-10 biometric alloys prepared in advance. And you can then get expertise from main hand (BM). Your opinion on that?..
  12. They said we cannot really affect that. But they will if we will be reminding them that scoundrels are a bit in a disadvantage. What we really need is boost to target. That would mostly restore the balance.
  13. Btw what u want to have is Matrxi Cube 50 lvl and 1 relic isntead of 2.
  14. According to latest guild summit only 3% of players play Scoundrels and not all of them are main characters. Being a scoundrel is tough. After nerf, many left/re-rolled for more popular classes. Nevertheless, I can say that those who stayed learned to survive and are considered as the most annoying and quite dangerous class. If you have patience and determination to pursue Scoundrel DPS carrier, here are some tips: 1) Gear up What you want now (before patch 1.2 arrives) is good mix of champion (bm) and columni (rakata) sets. As for now, expertise bonus is steeply deminishing so I would advice to get around 400-450 and fill rest of the slots with PvE gear that will give nice stat boost. Very important: You want to have HIGH % of Crit, decent surge and power rating. Consider replacing some of the enhancements to get rid of accuracy completely and concentrate on Crit/Power/Surge. 2) Watch and learn Search forum for pre and post-nerf Scoundrel PvP videos. You can check imperial agents videos as well. It will give you general ideas about when and who to attack and wisely use your abilities. Important aspects are: XS Freighter Flyby - gives you decent damage and causes distraction Tendon Blast - as you have no speedboost/jump abilities, you really want to use this to slow target either to kill it or run from it Abuse of Relic, Adrenal and Warzone buffs - Scrapper is burster and we want to make most of it. Try to keep at least 1 damage buff on most of the time. 3) Practice Just try to play and enjoy your game. Try to differentiate your rotation according to the class you are attacking or aim you are achieving. Do not get frustrated with Huttball. Do not try to carry the ball much or make a win. Your aim is to kill/distract. Choose light, medium armor targets as your burst targets. Hope this helps a bit. And I'm also suspecting that devs will try to improve scoundrel situation as both statistics and forum cries show that we are a bit underpowered atm.
