  1. Even on the new asiapac server, starfighter queue doesnt pop often enough making farming of fleet comendtions difficult to say the least. I know the original space missions are supposed to be the pve style content for space combat, but they are too on-rails to be done long term before going mad and the rewards are lackluster at best (5 fleet commandations avg per run?). I think its a waste of assets for the galactic starfighter not being used enough, i think pve content using it would do well especially if more rogue-like. I'm not sure if the current devs have the resources to make such a thing, but over the long term Broadsword should consider it.
  2. I would play GSF if it wasnt PVP, keyboard or joystick notwithstanding.
  3. i wager they deliberately kept the number of nodes small in order to curtail bot farmers, force everyone to just use the gathering missions as a credit sink.
  4. The KOTFE chapters compares much to STO's monthly episodes, 30min to one hour. Assuming they actually kept a monthly schedule It is as expected for me. It would be nice if they had new repeatable content to coincide with chapter releases but I get the impression they simply either do not have the resources or they are saving the more meatier content for the last chapters (like maybe new flashpoints, arenas, or ops I'm hoping).
  5. The grand packs replace a new item with a chance at older items which you may already have or probably wont sell well either since a lot of people probably already have them. When one buys a pack that advertises new items, they tend to want the new items.
  6. Guess that confirms my worst fears. I wont be buying any new packs at all. I'd rather they return the grand packs, I'll buy those instead of the new packs
  7. My 2 cents. This change will reduce the chances I buy any new packs simply put. At this time, the only packs I am interested in buying are the grand decoration packs only. I have more than enough armors unlocked to supply alts and there are numerous options in the game.
  8. I cant say I've been a long time subscriber other than i did the first 6months of the game and just resubbed about a year ago. Personally I love the difficulty of the current story game. The less i have to rely on others the better. I avoid doing flashpoints and ops if i can help it unless there was a solo mode. Frankly I prefer everything in an MMO to be soloable so I am somewhat of an odd one. If anything the fact that the game has gotten easier over the years has brought me back and allowed me to cycle SWTOR into my game rotation.
  9. If Everquest 1 can survive in the presence of EQ2 and EQlandmark, I can see swtor surviving especially if any such star wars mmo is set in another era. They both can tell their own stories as long as they are making money, and we can all agree Swtor is making money otherwise they wouldve shut this down a long time ago. That said, I'll believe Bioware is making another mmo only with the appropriate sources.
  10. They realized people would rather pay for a sure thing than spend a lot of money gambling. I vowed never to buy the random ones and just buy the gold packs with my stipend. Guess I wasnt the only one with the idea.
  11. Only on PVP servers plz k thx
  12. So glad i didnt buy anything in the auction house since 4.0 dropped. I dont want to be even close to the field of fire when the banhammers come down.
  13. Ick, ok, I guess i have some more gear work to do.
  14. While I agree with the OP in an overall sense, rather than nerfing any of the roles I would rather they add 2 or 3 unique abilities specific to a companion that is usable in all roles that highlights that particular companion's abilities/story. Balance would be an issue but I'd rather have it that way than nerfing any of the base roles and abilities.
  15. im curious, can a mostly 208 with 33 influence companions solo h2? been too leery to try to be honest
