  1. Let's just face it. With the countless tickets the Bastion ranked community has probably written up on said trolls, and with no transparent/obvious response from BW, we're harping on a lost cause.
  2. Best way to fixed ranked imbalance, become a ranked troll for the dominant faction. It's working on the Bastion, I'm starting to play my pub 55s again in ranked instead of my Imps. Why? Because of Imp trolls throwing games by spamming consume to 1 health, or queuing without an AC picked. It's forced me to play pub again.
  3. Thanks everyone that participated on Saturday. It took us a bit longer than normal to set up (had only a few guildies on to help initially) but we managed to pull about 40 characters up. We're thinking of doing Imp side sometime next month, and I'll make a new post when we figure it out.
  4. Latest update: Our 1st group, which runs from 10:30pm EST (-4GMT) to 12:30am Tues and Wed nights, needs one dedicated healer who's punctual and still learning the instances. Experience is always a plus, but we're looking for someone that's in the process of learning HM Ops AND has high class competency. We are down one person due to shifting of raiders to help get the 2nd group running. Contact me in-game please for more details/questions. Thank you.
  5. Just to update, we are STILL on for this Saturday, 9pm EST (-4GMT). I don't foresee any last second cancelation on this, as most of our guild will be in attendance to help pull people up. I may have one more reminder post, but otherwise, we're good to go. Be on the lookout for our fleet spam starting around the appointed time. See everyone then!
  6. Greetings JC. <Lego My Aggro> is hosting a pub fleet datacron run this Saturday on the 26th, starting 9pm EST (-4:00 GMT) and going for about 2 hours. Last month's run we pulled up 60+ characters outside of our guild in a span of 2 hours. Hopefully we can top that, and though I shouldn't have to say this, but whatever, we are NOT charging, we're doing this for JC's community If we happen to have a schedule change, I'll post it here ASAP, and we'll be on fleet periodically advertising the run.
  7. Newest update on needs: 1 Dedicated tank, that has a flexible schedule. Currently days/times not set yet because of several members real life schedules won't be set for two more weeks. Everything else about the individual still needs to be true in regards to the previous posts description of the type of players we're looking for. Thanks!
  8. Updating on needs: The 2nd hm ops group needs 1 tank, 1 heals, and 2 DPS. The current tank is a guard, so we prefer a shadow or vanguard tank, but we'll take high class competency ultimately. Aside from that, the "Needs" description in the OP still applies. We're not looking for super-decked-out full DF min-maxed. We want individuals that are willing to learn and grow with the group. TImes are still up-in-the-air; the current 4 members of the 2nd group are incredibly flexible and are wiling to accommodate for the first new recruit that has very specific dates/times. If you have further questions, please contact me in-game which will give you the most immediate response. Cheers!
  9. Same with us, <Lego My Aggro> on pub side. Typically we're more of a late running crew, ~10pm-12am EST during the weeknights and we try to host pug runs of sm ops. If you're just looking for achievement completion and not necessarily a guild, feel free to join our pug runs. We typically don't have enough guildies ever for 16m during the week, so plenty of pugging opportunities. However, if you are interested in a guild, we're in open recruitment and we enjoy helping new ops runners learn the ropes.
  10. <Lego My Aggro>, in addition to looking for hm ready players, is in open recruitment mode. We're a community of gamers with various backgrounds in life and with extensive MMO/online gaming experience. We enjoy all aspects of the game. Whether it be socializing, hosting fleet datacron runs and sm ops, hm progression (3/5 DF), there is something for everybody. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot an in-game mail or tell. See you in-game!
  11. Awesome! Thank you for advertising. Will contact you in-game later today after work.
  12. Who we are: We are a pub-side social-raiding guild. We strongly believe that the social aspect of swtor/gaming can coexist with a drive to challenge one's self in hm/nim. The current progression group is a collection of solid players with random HM ops experience, but from different guilds. After 7 nights, the Lego's 1st group is 3/5 DF and 1/5 DP. We're also looking to create a 2nd progression group. Need: Any role/class, but preferring dedicated tanks & heals. Individuals should understand that regardless of role/class, we're looking for those that know how to handle advice/critiques, stay out of stupid stuff, and own up to mistakes. We want people that are willing to learn. We're not looking for those that already are full Dread Forged or at this point Dread Master. We want individuals that are patient and willing to endure the growing pains. Finally, someone that knows when to devolve into the mentality of a child When: 1st group needs one healer for Tues/Wed nights starting 10:30p EST (-4GMT) to 12:30am. The 2nd group needs one tank, with times dates still being decided (should be decided by the end of the week and will post updates ASAP. Contact:Send in-game mail or tell to Shadnihia or Ky-Shiana and I'd be happy to have a conversation about your interest.
  13. Some people are misunderstanding what 1.3 million active subs actually means. Just reread the article for the definition of active subscriber: "Analysts were expecting EA to end the recent quarter with about 1.6 million active subscribers — defined as those paying for subscriptions along with players who are still in the free month of trials after buying the game." Source of course is the MW report: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/ea-sales-beat-targets-star-wars-takes-hit-2012-05-07?siteid=yhoof2 Couple that with Erickson's admission about login rates: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/345030/swtor-subs-not-in-decline-logins-are-bioware/ Active sub #s =/= Login Rate. I would be shocked if EA would publicly release login rate #'s, because I'm guessing that number would be very depressing. Now to me, not looking at past history of other MMOs performance (which I dismiss on the basis that the MMO market was not the same as the climate SWTOR came into), EA investors are indeed worried about their investment in general. It's stated in the article: "The results from “Star Wars: The Old Republic” — as well as a disappointing forecast for the current fiscal year — help send the videogame publisher’s shares down more than 8% in after-hours trading on Monday following the results. " This does not mean the investors are solely reacting to SWTOR sub losses of course. To think that is ridiculous. However, with the company's outlook for the next fiscal year being currently negative, I see a potential positive trickle effect for us still playing. Investors need signs of change, this puts pressure on the company, and as a result they can either 1) downsize to cover potential reduced earnings and/or 2) address community needs to maintain current sub base and foster growth. And that 1.3 million current active subs does not reflect correlate with login rate which Mr. Erickson has attested to. So I'm taking all of this with a grain of salt. Actions speak louder than words, and we will see that reflected with less threads about "server X is dead" and more with "server y is too full!(*@#".
  14. Hey guys, I'm at a conundrum trying to figure out the best relic configuration. Currently at lvl 50 van assault with mostly Rakata gear, I'm using the +58Aim Matrix cube and the campaign relic that grants 184 elemental damage on proc. Now I was thinking I should get a second campaign relic, another 184 elemental damage one for the matter. However I read the tooltip more closely and it says the proc shares a cooldown with "similiar damage-dealing effects". Here are my two questions, and you parsers please chime in on these: 1) Does the tooltip refer to the TYPE of damage i.e. elemental vs. internal vs. energy or does it refer to all damage procs from any campaign relic I have equipped in a 2nd slot? 2) More for you parsers out there: What would be the most ideal relic configuration? As much as I love my matrix cube, losing ~1% on crit chance/ 7-10 damage for range/tech could be made up for I feel with something else. Any thoughts?
