I can't remember as I am well past your level but I do believe that you should go back to imperial/republic fleet and look for an Alderaan bonus series quest. Sorry if I'm wrong. I will say that I am level 46 and have only done solo stuff. I hope that helps bud!

I enjoy actually loving the leveling process in an MMO. I am playing a Jedi Knight and I just cant wait to finish this character off and roll another. Don't know what but I can't wait.

So What funny names have you seen? I have seen Captain Kirk (smuggler). I made Dawg (A bounty hunter) and Koopa (a trooper) because I am lame.

I thought it would have been neat if you could use the holocam to fly, move the camera around and take better and cooler screenshots.

I too feel there are too many skills. I play a Jedi Sentinel and I have fully key-bound the bottom two bars. I am running out of key binds for useful abilities. I will say that a few abilities are supposed to replace others (slash and blade rush for instance). It just feels like at least the class I am playing has far too many abilities and too many abilities that are on a short 15 sec CD.
