  1. Hello folks, For you dps sages or sorcerers, which companion type do you prefer for things like daily missions and Ossus content? Tank or healer?
  2. Hello SWTOR people, I am a returning player who joined during the initial launch, but left the game before the RoTHC expansion. One reason I left was that the few people I knew had already left and I didn't have anyone to run FPs with. Plus there was not a lot to do at level 50. I'm really not up for hopping in the group finder alone and hoping I don't get berated for not knowing the fights already. I have been back for a couple of very short periods of time including during KoTFE, but now that I have left WoW for good I'm looking for a small, friendly guild here. I'll be honest though, I don't know if small guilds are common or not these days or if it's mostly larger guilds, but I am flexible. I am just unwilling to deal with negative attitudes. I also prefer an environment where adult humor is appreciated. I have been back at SWTOR for a few weeks now leveling various toons, looking at class guides, watching youtube videos, and seeing what is fun. I'm not leader/officer material, but I am a very capable player. I can follow instructions, and I am open to feedback and learning from people who know something I don't. I can find resources, learn my class, and do my job. I learn by doing. At the very least I'd like to be among cool people and do some casual content. A lot has changed in the game, and being among people who could help me learn would be great. I don't think I'd be interested in the more difficult level Operations, but I have been curious about doing the normal modes (I guess it's called Story mode here). I'm open to either Imp or Pub side though I would prefer Imp. Right now I have the following toons at or approaching 70: Marauder - 70 Mercenary - 70 Sniper - 58 Juggernaut (DPS) - 54 Guardian (DPS) - 68 I've got other lower level toons and wouldn't mind focusing on another DPS class if needed. I have never played Trooper, Smuggler, or JC beyond level 10 or 12, but I'd be more than willing to try if the right situation presented itself. Please send me a forum PM as I am currently messing around on a few different toons. Thanks!
  3. I'm also a returning player, and was wondering, are DPS Juggs still somewhat looked down upon? When I played one way back in 2012 some people tended to get snarky because they figured anyone playing a DPS Jugg was stupid when they could have rolled a Marauder. Also, is there a huge DPS difference between Jugg and Marauder? I'm sure there is some since there is always a delta, but I wasn't sure just how much (I'm aware of the skill factor as well).
  4. I'd definitely be interested in speaking with you. I'll either be on as Furious or Wideright.
  5. You won't have Quinn by the time you do the Rylon fight, so your only choice is Vette. As others have mentioned make sure your gear and Vette's gear are as up to date as possible. Also make use of: Saber Ward Invincible Call on the Force (HOT plus Saber Ward cooldown refresh) Disruption Also, make sure all of Vette's abilities are active (button should be lit up green) She gets new abilities as you level up and can do nice ranged dps for you.
