  1. Only a few blocks from penn station. Perfect location. Coming from Long Island on the LIRR. I will defiantely be attending .
  2. I ran the new HMs yesterday. One shotted both. About 20 minutes each. What a disappointment. I miss the old LI. That was a great flashpoint to learn mechanics in. We need some tougher content to run during the week. A new flashpoint in its own tier again that likeminded people who want a challenge can q for.
  3. A the title states we need some cool customization features here. I'd even settle for being able to use the existing dye system to change his colors. Thanks.
  4. To answer the question. I think the dyes are a good much needed improvement. The distribution is acceptable but only because they like all the other cartel market stuff will be purchasable on the gtn. These prices will also stabilize in time as well. So only time will tell leading to me understandin bio wares silence. They are watching the metrics and will make adjustments as necessary. This should be done slowly with time as everything settles and they can get a true handle on things. We need rare dyes and colors, It makes them worth having. If you want it grind for the credits. You don't even have to grind. You can run companion missions am sell the mats for a couple million a week.
  5. I use a triage adrenal that boosts tech when I need the extra power on my heals. To be honest it is pretty rare that I find myself needing to use much of anything to boost healing. The healing in ops and flashpoints on bosses hasn't been very demanding. The trash mobs are ridiculous at some points. CC and kill order can solve that though.
  6. I run a scoundrel healer on the Jedi Covenant and am one of "those" that stack alacrity over surge. Always have. Even in 2.0. I have found that about 540 alacrity rating is my sweet spot. I have healed SnV HM, TFB HM, Toborros HM etc. and my guild has no problems asking me to heal any content with them, even if some of them think I am crazy when asking to see my stats lol. At that alacrity I can actually maintain 2 stacks of srmp on 11 people. Haven't actually tried to do 12 though so it may be possible. I think the difference lies in play style.
  7. I wish they would take the nerfs out and rebalance it to 55 as a tier II flashpoint. This game needs more difficult content.
  8. I love operations. Being my first MMO I have to say SOA holds my favorite spot and will be very difficult to beat. The first time we made it as a group to him and I saw the floor drop I was in awe. It impressed me so much I forgot to move and died lol. Good times.
  9. I understand what you are saying it being a more powerful stat. I am looking at the end result of stacking almost twice as much alacrity on the new gear and getting slower cast times on ALL my casts as opposed to the live version. It's a nerf to our casting speed. Plain and simple. The stat is not as effective as it was they just made it effect more things than it did. May be a buff to some classes that had a lot of instant casts but its a nerf to me imho. As far a i can tell it does nothing for cooldowns of abilities that are not instant. My cleanse is at 4.5 seconds with my gear off or on. Kolto injection also stays at the 9 second cooldown regardless of alacrity stacked. The alacrity change for energy regen is a wash because we lost the diagnostic scan usefullness due to the lower crit rate and slower cast times. With the energy regen buff we got outside of alacrity it's a wash anyways. Seems like the energy management was dumbed down completely. Seems like the class was slowed down and dumbed down altogether.
  10. I'm not too impressed with the alacrity changes. I run 300 alacrity on live with a 1.7 uwm cast. Swapped to pts and geared/leveled up to 500 alacrity and have a 1.8 uwm cast. They nerfed alacrity not buffed it. My cleanse is at 4.5 seconds regardless of alacrity stacked. Diagnostic scan casts slower and crits less due to crit changes making it less viable for energy regen. Not that it matters as there are no energy problems at all now with the other changes. Just seems a waste of points spent in the skill tree now.
  11. I think what the op is saying is that there should be similar but different rewards ie pets and speeders for achievements in other areas of the game. I agree in this but I believe most areas have these achievements already. Pvp speeders and pets. Crafting gives credits and playing the economy in this game alone allows the accumulation of many things. I do high en raiding and have 50 legacy (have had it for quite some time). I choose what parts of the game i like to play and do it for the enjoyment. I am not a pvper and choose not to partake in it. I don't begrudge that crowd the armor or mounts or pets they have. They earned it and it is there for anyone who wants to do it. Same with high end raiding. All it take is the will to find similar people and then organize and make it happen. There is no part of this game i don't have access to if i didn't want. I don't begrudge anyone anything they have that don't. I definitely dot want everything handed out to everyone. How do you think us raiders feel about having to grind top tier gear all over again and the lower content being adjusted to drop dreadguard gear. I know in the end it doesn't matter because i do the content for the content and i know as i progress the gear drops will come.
  12. Mirror faction ability animation choices. Even if its only a few key ones we can choose where practical like lightening on a consular or force choke on a sentinel. It makes sense an would be really great for immersion. I understand some things won't work due to inherent differences of weapons like snipers and gunslingers but the aoe animations could still be swapped. Maybe pick one or two key abilities to choose from. As of right now the only benefits at all for the light/dark choices are physical appearance and two speeders at level 50
  13. The problem with this credit sink is there is nothing tangible to go along with it. Give me a speeder or a convenient. Apply a cost to the quick travel each use. Like the 1k fleet passes. I don't complain because the service is worth 1k for the convieneience of travelling. Charge me for using world speeders. Charge me for quick travel. Stop with the insane raiding costs. It's gettig out of hand and theres nothing worse than spending money (real or fake) and getting nothing in return.
  14. Err yea pretty useless as a threat drop. It is a great animation though lol. I get e kick out of it.
  15. That would be an awsome addition. Especially to help guilds with raiding teams who need help. Maybe make it a guild perk for officers ect. Let them with permission from there players watch the fight from any players pov. That would be a great tool.
