  1. Soooo, after a little less than 3 years they finally acknowledge jet packs are borked for the most part, then they promise they would start fixing things, but only one or two at a time... Seems to be a difficult task, especially checking if there even is a jet pack to fix seems to be giving them problems... Battleworn Triumvirate: http://i.imgur.com/u4HYgEE.jpg
  2. Not trying to be pedantic, but you could have found out in less than 5 minutes instead of having to endure your thread going everywhere but the correct answer. Simply log off and back on in a couple of minutes. If folks are still there, they don't get kicked out.
  3. Here ya go http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=7954309#post7954309 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=789678 and my own covering the ones I could get confirmed. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=787017 PS. It is said that putting Character Detail on high will move the jet flames to the pack, but distorted.
  4. No use posting here... found that out long ago... create in-game tickets per situation... at least they have a slightly higher chance to get noticed before they end up at the bottom of the pile.
  5. The thing is, the above already happened a couple of times with outfits and there wasn't nearly the same uproar that's been going on now. Folks go like "meh, another bug that won't ever get fixed" and forget about it. Robes on the old battlemaster sets (and variants) and the new ceremonial mystic set got changed into something that completely destroyed the belt ornaments. No one but a handful complained. Even though it also affected outfits that had been in game for nearly 2 years at the time. Did it ever get fixed? NO! Did it ever get acknowledged? Again NO! not even that! And there's more outfits where parts got changed after they were released. One of the more recent examples is the Dathomir Shaman hood which is now doing a nice imitation of Hide Head Slot and still hasn't been acknowledged. The only comment we got was they're looking into it, but no confirmation that it's bugged. Granted, more important things come first, but how long has it got to take before outfits that have been bugged for more than 6 months (Battlemaster like outfits), get fixed? And there's the jetpack issue, one of the longest standing bugs/issues. Only after we started creating a list to make it plainly (or should I say, painfully) visible to the community which ones worked and which ones didn't could we even get an acknowledgment, and even then only a promise that they would start fixing the latest two (Pardon?) and the others would get looked at when time permitted... (sure...) So your comparison don't fly. Folks don't get into an uproar when it affects just looks. They do however when it affects their wallets, virtual or otherwise.
  6. You are aware that what you are asking is basically "Hey Bioware! Can you stop giving that person 100CC each month?" I can sympathize with the fact you may not be happy with it, seeing as you obviously got baited into it without realizing the consequences, but still. I doubt if CS will do so unless you can convince them you got baited.
  7. Trust me, there will be someone leaving an incubator unattended after a successful DNA re-implant and instead of a WB we will get a new event to cleanup all of the escaped litter that will then be roaming the desert. And they will still be little ones...
  8. Not even vs. It is still splitting a stack, only the stack's in the vendor's inventory, not your's
  9. guess you in turn failed to notice that JAWA JUNK does not equal JAWA SCRAP and certificates.
  10. Like I already replied in the big one about the nerf.... [somewhere in Austin, Texas]
  11. Actually, since I started reading the thread and the while keeping an eye on GTN, I am noticing a surprising rise in sales. Earlier tonight there were still 4 pages of them on offer, with the lowest price already below the 2mill. In the last half hour I've seen at least 10 getting bought and the lowest price is now already over 3mill... Walker mount?
  12. with regards to 1. This has always been the case, every character can harvest any decoration node, regardless of class, crewskills or level (as long they at least have chosen an advanced class that is...) 2. Never encountered any decoration resource node that placed the timer account wide, all of them place a character-only timer. and as far as sploiting it... if you want to stand next to the thing, have 22 characters and rotate among them to click the thing then go right ahead, nothing wrong with that. If bioware didn't realize this would happen before they added the things they shouldn't be developing games. Personally I can think of easier, more fun, less time consuming ways to collect credits but I will the click the thing if I'm there.
  13. tbh, if the OP means the regular purple then it's likely out of reach still, it being a level 50 crafted version. All other purples are level 10 color combo's from CM. Except black-purple which is also a crafted level 50 . FYI, the one in the SoR image (e.g. http://www.swtor.com/sites/all/files/en/ss/gu_3-0/SWTOR_SoR_SS1_1600x900.jpg ) is a tri-color white-purple-blue, although the one in-game has a much paler blue
  14. oh brother, that couldn't have been timed better even if they tried
