  1. I agree that some new species would be awesome, I love the Cathar, so I was very glad when they showed up. However the species you've mentioned here have a common problem, that might MIGHT be a problem. Helmets. While all of these species have a humaniod body, which is vital for gameplay, none of them can wear helmets. Kel dors head shape is too different, Nautolan's (I'm assuming that's what you meant) got too many head tails, the twi'leks are able to wear helmets despite their lekku because they have only 2, not that much, I can't remember the specific number of head tails a nautolan has, but it's a lot more. They're heads are also a bit of a different shape to accomodate that and the Togruta have their head spikes. The sith inquisitor companion Ashara is an example of this, since any helmets you equip her with don't show up. Honestly I reckon the Kel-dor might work, and I'd love to be able to play as one of them as well, but aye, doubt the other two are gonna happen :/
  2. three days since you left it at a cliffhanger like that D: Your work so far has been amazing, such good writing. I get that you need time to write, but the suspense is killing me >.<
  3. I've played as both Jedi and Sith and thoroughly enjoyed both. It just depends on what you're more into.
  4. do you mean that there's no one wanting to do flashpoints, or that there's not much people at all
  5. Malavai Quinn for the sith warrior. He's a useful companion as he heals, it is relatively easy to please him meaning more affection, therefore faster to get to companion quests wich means more experience, he can lend his blaster in which helps a lot more than I'd of thought, but he can still maintain his healing. I also like him as a character, he is interesting and I find it fun to be with such a patriotic specialist.
  6. I'm generally lucky as the waiting queues on my server last for only half an hour, but even that is ridiculous. I don't how all the tech stuff works, I'm not that smart, but I really wish they would hurry up and fix this.
  7. Yes Han did lose to Vader on Bespin, but keep in mind that Vader was supposed to be extremely powerful. I know many people hate the prequels in all ways, but it does mention that Anakin was even stronger in the force than Yoda. It would take someone as powerful as Luke (once he's completed his training of course) to bring Vader down. If put against a sith lord that wasn't as strong as Vader or Palpatine, he could possibly have a chance.
  8. I think SWTOR has a decent chance of overtaking WoW. It's gaining a large community in many different ways. 1) From those[such as myself] who are very large Bioware fans. The old republic is an MMO, but is still the sort of RPG Bioware creates, that many people love, such as KotOR. 2) the millions of star wars fans that love the chance to be able to be a jedi knight, or be as awesome as Boba Fett 3) I'm guessing a lot of veteran MMO players are looking for something new, after playing the same raids a billion times on WoW and other MMO's. Many will and have switched over to the old republic for this new experience. I beleive that WoW will suffer a large blow to the size of their community because of the old republic. I'm judging this by size of population btw, not by which game I think is better.
  9. Just about everyone on this thread watched one of them in the 1900s. I'm ashamed to say the first time for me was ten years ago, 2001. Was around five or six at the time. Episode IV. What a great film!
  10. I enjoyed the prequels, they expanded the star wars universe much more. It added more action as well, don't get me wrong, the original trilogy had good action, it's just that the prequels showed it off in a bigger scale. The story was quite clever as well and expanded on the sith lords, well, basically created them. I liked palpatines cunning and trickery, fooling the jedi and the republic and showing how the empire came about. The lightsaber duels in the prequels probably inspired a lot of the awesome lightsaber combat in tonnes of star wars games, graphic novels and books. Admittedly, I didn't like seeing Anakin the way he was. Darth Vader was one of the most iconic and evil villains ever, and seeing him be so deppressing and childish struck a blow at my idea of him.
  11. No, that's bizarre, since the cinematic should remove all other players from sight. Maybe your companion?
  12. Wait, I'm confused. In the U.S., where it's released on the 20th, they are now giving a grace period until the 22nd. However in europe, where it's released on the 22nd, nothing has changed? -_- Am I right?
