  1. When you use Awakened Flame, it adds a significant new source of energy (so armor-mitigated) non-weapon damage from the Ball Lightning dot. Put your parse numbers into the amplifier spreadsheet and you'll see that Armor Pen wins out in this case. If you use, say, Blade of the Elements, that buffs the weapon damage that, absent any tactical, makes Weapon Expertise best for the spec.

  4. I win most of my matches on Shadowlands pub. TBH I think it's the same as in a lot of things... most of the winning is by a smaller fraction of the population. What varies, probably, is the odds of being carried by one of those winning groups in your WZs. If everyone good is in 4-mans, teammates you get when you solo queue are going to be really bad.

  6. I assume you mean PvE? Fury is quite a legitimate PvP burst spec.
  7. As I recall from leveling it's basically just a heal. Also, the Gree event doesn't officially start until people make complaints about getting ganked... So congrats.

    Ah damn, I'd love to play with you on SL, Domi, if you ever get to 65 there. I suppose I'll make a lowbie Scoundrel if the Great Seer Nerf ever actually happens.

    Ahh, well, you're right, I think ranked on SL is mostly Imp. On EH I understand it's mostly Pub. I dislike deathmatch, so I only ever do it when dragged in by friends.

    Are you looking to be carried? On JC it's often the case that random pubs are so bad they literally can't be carried. Though the initial wave of 4X fail has died down a bit. On SL there's a strong middle tier of pubs who know what they're doing even if they can't dominate a match. There are also bads, as there are everywhere. The worst thing about SL pub is that people will quit WZs at the drop of a hat... whether it's because the group hasn't filled (even if there's a minute left!), because they see one/some people who suck, because they lost the initial cap, because they don't like the map, or just because. I have no idea how this became so accepted.

  13. This would, in fact, destroy it in PvE. Double bounce mend is the only quick tank burst-up the class has.
  14. This is the problem with guides... people tend to take everything in them as gospel instead of personal preference that may not work best for you. The only really important thing is getting to or damn close to 40% Force crit chance, which takes a bit over 1200 Crit points. In fact, I'm happy sticking to something a lot closer to the PVE ratio (just over 1:1) with all the rest in Alacrity. This brings Mend off cooldown faster, makes Trance/Innervate go faster, and allows any hardcasts you have to do just a bit more chance to get off. In any case, a difference of 18 points one way or the other from using two Augments instead of one Enhancement is just not something you're going to notice.
  15. Slice Droid on one big, dps the other. Take a pyro grenade if you want to burn adds quick.
