  1. Thanks for the kind words. We tried to give back to the community as much as possible. We have had several members of the SWTOR community thank us for our strategy guides we produced. I will also point out that we provided the devs with a TON of feedback on pve encounters, class mechanics, open world design to name few. We had members spend hundreds of hours testing this game. We never claimed to be the top SWTOR guild, that is a title bestowed by members of the community. So I am not sure where the vitriol from certain posters is coming from. We have a high standard of conduct for our members and we do not allow the type behavior that typical "elite" guilds exhibit. We simply left this game because it does not cater to our play style. We hope bioware continues to build on its success and creates an awesome lasting game.
  2. Lack of world pvp (no more ilum). Ranked war-zones not making 1.2. Leaving for GW2 was not the initial plan by any means. Several members of our upper leadership (myself included) have been waiting for this game since the day it was announced. We were planning on playing this game for a very long time. To the poster whom said we always planned to leave is sorely mistaken. A lot of members were very interested in GW2 but as a guild we never intended to move. After 1.1 ( in which we got world first clear for night mare content, see link for proof: http://www.swtor.raidranks.com/#!), we saw a large decline in activity. We were able to clear content in 4 hours, so we used the rest of the time to pvp. As a guild, most of our members like PVP as much if not more than PVE. What ever we do, we strive to be the best. The Wednesday at 4:07 CST when it was announced that their would be no ranked war-zones for the foreseeable future was the straw that broke the camels back. That was when the majority of officers felt this game did not hold the long term vision and goals in mind. To put this in perspective, I am the PVE officer/raid leader for the guild. My job was to research every encounter, determine raid makeup, form strategies. I played SWG, have read a **** ton of SWTOR novels (our group got 2nd in the trivia at the summit grrr...). Essentially, I am a huge Star Wars nerd. However, officers and myself came to the conclusion this game does not cater to our guild's play style. We are a hardcore guild. That doesn't mean we are basement dwelling leeches, but we go after content hard and want to be the best at everything. This patch just made it clear that this game is catered to a different type of gamer. SWTOR has a ton of potential, but just aimed at different crowd.
  3. Well I see you havent done it on 16 man... The purple does do damage if you stand in it. 9k a tick to be exact. He is not "kiteable" in the last phase. You can use a sprint to get away from him for a very short period of time. If by spreading out and letting him slowly one shot everyone in your raid is kiting them. Well then sure its kiteable. However, that is possible on both 16 and 8. Clearly you are talking about something you have no clue about. Unlike you, I have done both, so I can offer a bit of perspective.
  4. You are discounting the increased hit points, and damage that bosses do in 16 man. We did some 8 man on test, and found the content easier (maybe because our 8 best is a little better than our 16 best?).
  5. This is a pretty good summary. Condemned is as much PVP as we are PVE. With the failed release of 1.2 we no longer saw a purpose to playing the other 6 days of the week.
  6. This fight has been severely nerfed from previous versions on hard mode. Just keep at it. It is has a bit of learning curve.
  7. I understand that English is not your first language, however, there is absolutely no confirmation from a dev in there.
  8. Sure thing pal. Next time I hope they release the raid so we don't have to our members downloading a patch at 2 am, and our west coasters raiding at 5 am. For the record we did ZERO pulls of this boss on test. Also, here is a video of kill to show everything is on the up and up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mloDxJn1VcU&feature=g-all-u&context=G2db29b5FAAAAAAAAAAA
  9. Its not over tuned. Use HM EV/KP to gear up. This is tier 2 content.
  10. You folks don't schedule raid nights after a content patch?
