I think we can all see this is a casual game. Dumbed down for casual pve'rs.Faction vs faction conflict...nope.Crafting is just for those who want to craft...but like faction vs faction conflict it is not a salient feature in the game. The game was purposefully made for the middle of the road gamer.Push at the edges....crafting....faction vs faction conflict....and the game comes apart.

My thirst is for a game that has outstanding persistent world, 24/7, realm vs realm conflict. I bought this game HOPING it is put into the game.If it's not...my $15 subscription disappears. RVR doesn't mean story telling must disappear...or that it's tainted. Like crafting..it's a feature that will make Bioware money by attracting and keeping subscribers.If that if viewed as tainting the games storytelling by the decision makers..so be it...and I and my paltry $15/month give that money to a game company that listens to what I want.

Why can't Realm vs realm conflict (persistent 24/7 territorial wars) be a major element in this game ? It doesn't mean there can't great pve or great crafting or great raiding.These activity's don't need to be mutually exclusive as some are demanding. It means there is a very powerful focus for players who want to do something with there 50 level characters besides raid or wait for more pve content. RVR is a natural end game activity....NOT PVP........RVR !

After reading that the game is not going to have RVR and there is not the slightest concept of great RVR (DAOC is the best) I won't be subscribing when my subscription runs out.I cannot comprehend how laymen like us players ...."get it" when it comes to endless end game with RVR and the "pro's" don't.I can't express my deep disappointment.

Persistent world 24/7 realm vs realm conflict is missing from the game.Conflict over territory...resources...etc that would give players a focus AND END GAME...is not in the game.I'm playing hoping it will be added ,or I'm gone as soon as some new game offers it.

I want to make an Empire stealther and would help understanding which class to make ? I want a good pve class that could make an outstanding pvp choice Which spec tree would you choose with your recommendation ?

Where can you buy them ? Can any class find them ? Where can I get some ? Does any class make them ?

The lack of developer knowledge..and even seeming to care about the realm vs realm conflict on Illum is shocking to say the least.

OP...I enjoyed your post.I encountered an unwelcome companion for my male character....a male companion. I won't be playing that character.

It's not broken.It was never a complete coherent feature despite the demands for a great system all during beta. IMO...this company has no interest or capacity for a great 24/7 persistent territorial realm vs realm conflict feature.I hope I'm wrong.

-choices have consequences -if you're having fun..why does 3 days matter ? -roll lots of classes and play them for a bit and see what you like,then try another and another.Talk to people about your current class...watch youtube videos -MOST IMPORTANT......relax...have fun me....I have 4 classes I have taken to 10-11...and am still trying others.Heck I'm not sure I even want to stay on the server I've chosen ! THE BOTTOM LINE.....have fun

Yes I'm a male. I started a new character...a smuggler....and ended up with a male companion.A companion who I am supposed to build a "close " relationship in order to maximize my companions effectiveness. Now....I don't want to give my "companion" presents.I don't want to make decision that please "him". I would like to ask that players not be forced to have same sex "companions" ...especially as a first companion where I have little choice buy to associate with it. I thought this issue was dealt with some time ago ...do we really want same sex PDA(public display of Affection) in the game ?

Players have been screaming about the lack of great persistent world realm vs realm conflict throughout the beta. Now the neglect if visible for all to see. I hope the rvr devs aren't the ones Jacobs lobotomized before he destroyed WAR...or we're in for the same.
