They simply don't want you to buy stuff in the GTN, they want you to buy stuff in the CM.

Agree. Cross server qeues should be available for all warzones imo, not just ranked. I would rather suggest that you (if the cross server qeues for all warzones are invented) can decide if you only want to play against/with people that are listing solo aswell or if it's okay for you if you get premades in your or the enemies team. This works very well in e.g. Dota 2. Or maybe separate solo/premade qeues in general, idk.

Made by EA? Since they have the license I doubt that they'd give it away to a different company than theirs to make a Star Wars MMO.... We're doomed hoping that they'll implement some content soon™ or just cancel your sub instead. My guess is that there won't be any new PvP content until summer or rather fall next year, don't have any more hope that they could surprise me/us.

What about that they promised to never have a big downtime for new OPs again? Maybe it would have been a good chance to announce something new (or rather anything at all) yesterday. That's what I'm trying to tell. But in the end, after there hasn't been a new real OP in a long time, they broke their promise. Same with that announcement about 'better than cross server' many people are still waiting for. Meanwhile it's just a hope in vain since they will probably never implement this feature or whatever it was but remain silent about everything. What I'm saying is, the communication from BW side just sucks badly, if it's not even the worst communication from an MMO developer worldwide. If they would say that people get a new OP/warzone in a foreseeable time frame it would be alright (or that people cannot expect any new OP/warzone soon) - or if they would say that they're not working on 'better than cross server' anymore (or that they're still working on it). But what we get to hear is nothing at all! All what people see is that BW massively neglects the MMO part of this game at the expense of the ones that want group content like PvP or OPs. Fine that this game has a story line and all and that there are many guys around that love the story and enjoy it (like I do aswell) and don't want to play any other content - I respect that. But you can't stop integrating any new group content into an MMO for such a long time now - and that without any(!) real communication about it. Hope I clarified it a bit for you.

We wanted more content like OPs or warzones or maybe finally a better class balance but yeah... we recieved a big letdown once again. It's even bigger because it was so super uberhyped. We've not got the smallest view to new possible content, but HELL YEAH, a new chapter with maybe 30 minutes playtime which is now also delayed from its original release date! Isn't that awesome?! GJ BW. CASUAL CASUAL CASUAL CM CM CM..... That's all that counts for you (or maybe rather EA, who knows). So greedy for money....

Bioware definitely needs to put more effort into PvP than they did till today. It's just not enough. For how long didn't PvPer's get a new map (besides that trashy loveless Quesh Huttball)? Only starting new seasons and giving out new season rewards is just bad for such a big MMO. So at least one new map should be done, maybe a completely new and revolutionary gamemode like the original Huttball. That would be awesome.

So, could I use the same gear for Lightning? Or are there any adjustments needed? Btw, what are you putting your skill points into, both Lightning and Madness?
