The Imperial/Republic Fleet has various vendors that sell social gear. The Security Key Vendor has a set. You need to have a security key attached to your account to buy from that vendor. There is also the Collector's Edition Vendor that has a set of gear. Obviously you need to have bought the Collector's Edition to access that vendor.

I often use Overload to position mobs where I want them. If a mob is too close for Force Pull but far enough away that he's outside my AoE, I will run over and use the knock back on Overload to push him next to the pack. Or you can even knock the pack of guys over to the outlier and do your AoE then.

Okay, thank you for the quick responses. Can you buy Mercenary Commendations before hitting 50? If so, should I start doing this?

My Assassin is level 43 and I stumbled across the PVP weapon vendor last night. I PVP casually but do enjoy it and will probably do more of it once I hit 50. I noticed the vendor had a level 42 "PVP" double-bladed lightsaber and one for level 46. Both had a small amount of Expertise on them. My question is, is it worth buying one to finish out leveling up to 50 or should I pool my commendations for when I hit 50? From what I remember the lightsaber costs around 580 commendations.

I just hit 17 on my Operative alt and don't know how to spec in the upcoming levels. I haven't found a guide that I could follow like in other classes. Normally it's not hard to spec out a character but I keep reading how some talents are bugged and not working. If that is the case, I would like to avoid taking those talents. So far I have this. This is where I get confused because Prognosis: Critical looks great on paper but Diagnostic Scan is so lackluster that I don't think it would be worth picking it up. Does anyone have any tips they can give me on how to spec as I level up? Can you post your level 50 Op Healer spec?

I liked SWG because it was the most immersive RPG I have ever played. I actually felt like I was a person in the Star Wars universe. I also liked how you could play the game however you wanted. You could be a weaponsmith with some pistol skills. Or a ranger with pet wrixes (tigers). Each time I logged in there was something new to do. Forming parties to go hunt Rancors. I was a Ranger at the time so I would setup a base-camp and we would go hunt down Rancors and then recuperate back at my camp. Then the next night we might just hang out in the cantina of our player city and chill. It was a lot of fun and you could truly do whatever you wanted.

I try to put Master Strike on cooldown as soon as possible so I can use it again. Don't forget about Zen, either.

I was ticked when they took away Saber Throw. Sentinels should get Saber Throw back and they should add a knockdown to it.

I was excited about Sentinel from the beginning. Then I read that they took away Saber Throw and they don't get Force Push. I played a Shadow in the beta and really enjoyed that. If Shadows dual-wielded it would be the perfect class for me. The only reason I will play a Sentinel is because they have two lightsabers.

That flashpoint was bugged for me in beta. I did the flashpoint twice and each time when I went to talk to the guy at the end of the mission to finish the flashpoint I would CTD. When I log back in I was stuck inside a computer console in the middle of the ship.

I just got my email that I'm in. I pre-ordered 8/2.

Yep, sometime later this month they are having some big event before turning the servers off for good. I played SWG until they killed it with the NGE.

8/2 here. I just hope to be in by the weekend. If I get in today or tomorrow I probably won't be able to take advantage of it.
