Niklas, that bug sounds awful! I'll run Colicoid tonight and see if I can get it to drop so I can take a screenshot. I've never seen it myself, either, otherwise I'd describe it for you. Just from the icon, though... that looks to be the Imperial version. I've seen at least one Juggernaut robe in that style before. Update 4/4: No luck as of today, I'm afraid. I'll keep trying though.

Also adding the info about the Force Battler's chest, and mentioning the Maelstrom greaves since they do, after all, match. Thanks for the info and suggestion! Regarding the new Legacy set... I added mention of that as well, but I feel the need to clarify: it is not simply a white and blue version of Battlelord. I've seen people saying that, and it's simply not true. While it does look similar, and is certainly a good alternative for those who can't find (or afford) Battlelord's, the Legacy set lacks the Battlelord's armored shoulderpads—which are my personal favorite aspect of the set! (That's also why I won't be wearing full Legacy gear, regardless of its convenience factor.) To be more precise, the Legacy pieces are exactly identical to the 30+ green Polyfibe set (previously mentioned). They are not simply "white and blue Battlelord's." Comparison here. A bit of a nitpick, sure, but one that's extremely important to me... and yes, I am willing to pay an exorbitant amount simply for shoulderpads.

Thanks Rocky, added the Force Battler's chest! I looked into the Unwavering chest as well... but I couldn't find much info on it. Nothing on torhead or the other usual sites, and only one uncertain forum post from a guy who claimed to have gotten a piece of it to drop. Perhaps it's just very rare? ...Not sure. I'll see if I can find anything else. Judging from this, though, it's a pretty cool set.

And that's all well and good, really. BUT! None of these topics address the REALLY IMPORTANT issue, which is: Does your Guardian look cool?! Many other class forums have a "post your look" thread—including our very own siblings, the Sentinels!—but I cannot find ONE such thread for Jedi Guardians! (Word is it got deleted, bummer.) Obviously this is a heinous travesty of a crime, 'cause I want to know what y'alls characters look like. So! Consider this your (new) thread to post your looks, brag about your hotness, and/or ask others where they got those AWESOME shoes! I'll start us off: Tann's old look... New look plus cool pose! (That chestpiece is the BoE Elder Paragon's Body Armor, by the way.) Commonly Asked Questions: Q: When do I start getting those cool armored robes? A: Those will start dropping in your early 30s, likely on Tatooine: the green-quality Polyfibe set. Moddable ones are harder to come by, but you'll run into them every so often I find. A couple of those are listed below, though this is by no means an exhaustive list. Also, a moddable Legacy set identical to Polyfibe is coming in patch 1.2, purchaseable with Legacy 20 and 750k credits. Q: Where can I find a moddable, dark colored Jedi robe? A: There are a few that I know of. - One of the earliest, the Valorous Peacekeeper's Chestguard, is a quest reward from the Coruscant Heroic 2+ Republic's Most Wanted. - The identical Peacekeeper's Chestguard can be crafted at 100 Synthweaving... but please note that orange schematics are random finds. Not all Synthweavers may have the pattern, though you might have some luck on the GTN. - UNCONFIRMED: There may be another identical robe which drops from Ironfist in the Esseles, but I have yet to see it. Posts on torhead are ambivalent about this as well. Can anyone confirm it? - The Warbringer's Body Armor is very similar to the above, except it has padding on the shoulders. This is dropped in the level 15-ish flashpoint Hammer Station off of Battlelord Kreshan. - The Guardian's Maelstrom Chestplate is one of my favorites: it's both dark and armored. This drops in the level 33-ish flashpoint The Maelstrom off of Lord Hasper, and a set of matching greaves drop off of PD-44. Maelstrom is part of the Jedi Prisoner questline. - "There's also a chest piece called the Force Battler Chestguard, and it looks identical to the Maelstrom chest. Saw it on the GTN the other day." — Thanks to RockysRevenge! Also, according to Kellan, this is ever-so-slightly lighter than the Maelstrom chest, but still similar. Torhead says this piece drops from Commander Gosular on Hoth, so it's likely very rare. Q: Where do I get the armored robes you see in the trailers? The green and brown ones? A: That is the Jedi Battlelord's set, and yes, it IS awesome. It's a rare world drop off level 45+ mobs, so your best bet is probably the GTN. NOTE: I've seen everyone saying that an identical white and blue set is coming via Legacy in patch 1.2. This is simply NOT TRUE! While similar, the Legacy "Guardian Exalted" set (viewable here courtesy of dulfy.net) shares graphics with the level 30+ Polyfibe set, not the 45+ Battlelord set. Aside from being different colors as mentioned, the Exalted set is also lacking armored shoulderpads. Comparison here. Also note that the Polyfibe chest does have a hood, and the Battlelord visor does look the same; the visor simply disables the hood, and it is hidden in the Battlelord photo. Q: How do I take pictures inside of the game / where is the screenshot folder located / how do I disable my UI? A: By default, ALT+Z disables and re-enables your UI. This can be changed in the keybinds menu. You take screenshots by hitting the "print screen" button on your keyboard; screenshots then go into "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\My Documents\Star Wars - The Old Republic\Screenshots"... NOT to your TOR folder in Program Files, but to the folder in My Documents! (As far as I know, there is currently no way to change the pathing. Also, there have been some reports of the "print screen" function bugging out; if this happens, remap it and it should work fine.) Q: My helmet is cutting off my hood / I don't like my helmet! How do I disable it? (Alternately: I don't want a hood! Which helmets can override it?) A: Main Menu -> Preferences -> Social -> Hide Head Slot. Please note that this will disable any voice modifications as well, e.g. the "holocomm" sound you get from some Trooper helmets. In my experience, any full-face helmet (i.e. Trooper gear) will override a hood... as will most of the Geordie LaForge visors. Headbands won't, gas masks (like the Balmorran Resistance Helmet) won't, and some Trooper helms which are not full-face don't appear to. Not sure if this is a new development, but the title says Imperial and Republic for me. To be exact, it's: "Synthweaving Craftable (Imperial and Republic) Orange Armor Sets Master List." Also, I'm not a high level Synth yet... but I have the schematics for the Reinforced Chanlon Headgear and Chestguard (Republic side). Screenshot here if you still need it... I can take my other gear off too if you prefer, sorry, wasn't thinking of that when I took the screenshot. (The headgear is kind of hard to see, but it's your typical white headband-y thing.) Also also... I found a Schematic for what looks to be the Battle Master's chestpiece -- medium armor, Smuggler and Knight only, looks the same and everything -- except it's called the Blade Master's Vest. Don't know if that's a typo or if it's just a different item? Maybe they changed it? Image here. Thanks for making this topic!
