  1. Yeah, this is not a welcome change at all... Please revert this. If this was even necessary at all, it was overdone. It covers up too much of the map and the other things you need to see on the map. If people have trouble seeing group members on the minimap, a color change could work and not cover up anything on the map... Or add a toggle so people with this (apparently rare, but important enough to be addressed?) issue can turn on this mode. (I can't recall a single person ever saying they had trouble finding group members on their minimap in the years I've played this game.)
  2. I would try calling customer service - a friend of mine had a similar problem and called and his character was moved to fleet immediately. Another friend had the same thing happen, put in a ticket and waited a week with no response - then he called and was moved as well... So from their experiences this seems like something phone support can help with.
  3. Leveled a few more characters from 65 to 70 through story mode (solo) Legacy of the Rakata (takes about 3 runs each), got a couple more Prismatic Mewvorrs and a couple more Rakata Palm Trees. The mount has always been the rarest of the drops, so it doesn't surprise me I haven't gotten another of those yet... If I recall correctly, the hard modes drop the walker mounts, it's the other modes that drop the original mounts and such (now that they're dropping again).
  4. Schematics are totally random, not based on class/spec/crafting skills (that's why they're legacy bound) - but it definitely seems to be dropping a ridiculously high proportion of tank schematics. Nearly every schematic I get is for tanks, and nearly every schematic I've seen others get while grouped up has been for tanks. While running an operation, every schematic dropped was for tanks but one. Definitely seems like something that might need to be looked into.
  5. Yes, all of the cosmetics from Legacy of the Rakata are dropping again finally - even in solo mode. Finally picked me up an Aquatic Sleen and the Prismatic Mewvorr while leveling a couple characters to 70 in that FP. Feels like the drop rates may have even been increased a bit.
  6. Nah, I just misread some stuff and didn't notice the achievement didn't get granted
  7. Weird, I don't recall many stuns (maybe 2?)... or a fight that took 3-5 minutes. (Still took an hour or so to do the chapter without spacebarring...)
  8. Like with any issues, when you put in a ticket include as much information as possible so they can find it easily - server, character name, class, level, when you deleted it, etc... I accidentally deleted my "main" once, and it took about 6 hours to get it back. Ticket wait times are generally longer these days, but that's even more of a reason to have as much info as possible. Good luck!
  9. Yes, it's safe to delete the character, and you can still move it around and stuff (at least it all worked out fine for me...). Your whole legacy owns the statue once it's been consumed. (And it'll transfer to other servers if you transfer a character.) That's some good luck there - it took me 2370-something tries to get that statue. (Totally worth it!). Now I just need to get my hands on a collector's edition code to get the 3rd Mandalore statue and I can finally be happy (well, until they make a 4th giant Mandalore statue...).
  10. So there are still a lot of reasons to have Cartel Market Certificates, but no good source for certificates. Sure, the exclusive stuff on the reputation vendors can drop from a chance cube, but it tends to be incredibly rare (which I'm fine with, since I got all that reputation so I could get exclusive stuff). But people who bought a lot of packs to have the rep to have access to those items still need access to the certs to buy those items. And yes, the Contraband Slot Machine can drop the certs, but those are so rare that it literally takes hours of mindlessly clicking just to get one certificate. There are also all those exclusive decorations that can only be purchased with certs. With the introduction of the chance cubes, it sounded like there weren't plans to bring back the old packs/hypercrates anymore. But the chance cubes are a great opportunity to add in a new source of the old cartel reputation and certificates. So here's my idea - with each item that drops from a chance cube, a rep trophy from the original source of that item drops too. The different tokens drop at the same rates they did in their original packs, and like the packs have a chance to drop a certificate instead. Items from packs with no rep could drop any random rep (or be a definite cartel certificate drop!), and exclusive items from rep vendors can drop the rep from the vendor they are sold on (or be a definite cert drop!). Or it could be totally random, any rep/cert with any item - and still be a great source of rep/certificates (and easier to program I would assume lol)! This would add to the perceived value of a chance cube, as well as give a good source of certificates so people who spent their credits/money building up all that rep can use those vendors and people can have access to all those great decorations (those Jawas are practically required for a good stronghold/guildship!).
  11. Shadowlands has been a great decision for us. PvP pops fast, GSF pops all the time. The market is very active; I never had trouble making credits on the Pot5 GTN - but I can make about 100million in 2 days on Shadowlands (did it 2 times now lol). You run into old Pot5 players in pretty much every WZ - sometimes there are so many it feels like we went back in time to before everyone left Pot5.
  12. I've always hated it when people said "Pot5 is dead!" and defended it until the end - and as much as I hate to admit it, the end is here... The population on Pot5 is probably at it's worst point ever, and after the release of the new instancing thing (next week?) it will probably get even worse. Since every server will have both PvE and PvP instances for every planet, there is no longer that last little reason to stick around (open world PvP). It got to the point where during prime time we were waiting 20+ minutes for a WZ pop and then when it finally popped, we were lucky if there were 8 people to fill a team. Half the matches after 10PM would end in 30 seconds due to lack of players. Afternoons are even worse - you have to be extremely lucky to get a WZ pop pub side before 4PM, and even imp side (which has about 2+ times the population as pub side) is having issues. I was in queue imp side for over 2 hours in the afternoon about 2 weeks ago before finally getting a pop - the first thing someone said in the chat when I loaded in was "Wow, I've been queued for over 4 hours and this is the first WZ to pop all day!" My guild finally had to give up and move to a larger server just to have WZs to play in. I log in to Pot5 each night to see if anyone is on that didn't see the "We Are Moving" MotD to let them know where we are, and while I'm there I do some /who checks. About 65-70 total lvl 65 players pub side each night, and only ever one WZ running at a time (and usually only 6 or 7 people in it). As much as I hate that I'm now one of those people I've been fighting against for so long, I have to say Pot5 is not the place to transfer to if you're looking for something to do - it isn't "dead" but it isn't the place to be if you're looking to do any group activity.
  13. End of the year? They are releasing that next Tuesday (along with the new Rishi arena map)...
