Yeup. I have the same problem as well. I tried restarting the game, leaving and going back, and it is still unclickable.

Case in point ^^ TY And yes I'm not the best DPS either, don't want to come off that way. But you're right, doing those things, and working WITH your group makes all the difference.

As a DPS myself, I honestly find this thread a tad bit ridiculous. For a couple reasons 1. I'm ok with the wait times. It is what it is. There really is no fix for it, I deal.; I queue do dailies and pop in when available. What sucks is when you get in and someone quits over the below. 2. Not all DPS sucks. Granted it takes some learning, and learning how to work with non dps, but once you do, it is a fun class. 3. The only thing I hate about FP's is the blame game. Tank: "Why is it the DPS is taking more damage than me?" a. Get your aggro up??? b. I have better gear not my fault you're dying and I'm not. "Learn the FP before you play" Sorry, some people learn by doing not by reading. And some people, dare I say it, like the thrill of figuring it out and not having it handed to them. ::gasp:: Was going to do a healer but it's mostly Tanks I see complaining. Own your mistakes. If I mess up I simply say, "Sorry my bad" move on and try not to repeat. Honestly, I feel bad for healers, they take the most grief. Can't tell you how many times I've gone over an edge because I leaped at someone and the healer pushed them off at the same time. I laugh about it and move on. It's funny, and noone's fault. Long and short of it is this, the best FPs I've done is where everyone worked TOGETHER and HELPED each other. Ironically those are the quickest runs I've done as well. They are designed to work as a TEAM. Each class is needed. If you can't play well with others without raging and quitting, maybe FP's aren't for you, go do WZ's and get some of that aggression out.

Yeah it said that for me too, but I went ahead iwth it and it only charged me the 792 for the Cathar unlock, didn't charge me for the customization.

KK was just trying to help. NM the fact I've helped and fixed this exact issue on almost a daily basis.... and usually those are the points to start looking at. NM the fact that 90% of the people I talk to tell me, "It's not my computer my specs are blah blah blah" go to canyourunit.com, oh yeah I don't have enough ram or my processor is not strong enough. Or the fact that majority of people who experience lag, fps drops is because they HAVE 2 video cards and the game is running off of the wrong one. "No I only have one." Ok upload your MSInfo please. Oh look, you do actually have two. And the game is trying to run using the wrong card. I would say the multitude of people who I have actually fixed this issue would disagree. But I digress. Spend more money, or spin your wheels, like I said I was just trying to offer up some simple possibilities. Even the fact that there is nothing wrong. Check the simple solutions first before going all hogwild. Occum's razor simplest solutions are more often than not the answer.

Do you have more than one video card though? Check that, I do alot of tech support and believe me when I tell you, that is one thing we run into alot. Worth checking out, usually 9 times out of 10 that is the issue. You could also try msconfiging and see if that fixes anything as well. Sometimes programs running in the background can cause these issues as well. MS configing shuts them all down, if it runs better after doing that, I'd reenable them in batches of 10 and then try it until it happens again, to narrow down the program that could be giving you the issue.

Agree, sometimes simply adding more RAM can help with that. A good site to go to is canyourunit.com. Put in TOR and it will check everything and let you know if it passes, and if anything needs an upgrade. Very useful site, use it in ts games all the time. Second thing to look at is do you have an integrated video card as well? If you do, the game may be running on that card instead of the GTX. This again is a simple fix by basically telling the right card to run TOR.

I for one am going to log in as soon as they are available, on a new server and create 12 cathar races all named Lion-O, Panthro, Wily Kit.... and so on and never play them. Just to piss someone off. Ok, I'm not that nasty a person I'm not going to do that, but I guarantee servers will be flooded with those named characters. Probably gonna put a sword of omens in the CM too.

I'm an old school gamer. Before the internet, before "readily available" strategies. When you had to go to the store to buy a book if you wanted to learn something. There are the people, who yes, have done this particular fp a bazillion times and just want to get through it. Then, there are the people who are playing for the first time. I think what the "experienced" players have to understand is, you are probably going to play with someone who has not done a particular FP before. Some people like the thrill of figuring it out for themselves, not having it handed to them. There is a sense of accomplishment when you can say, "yeah I figured that out." as opposed to, "yeah, I looked it up online, or used an app on my phone." What I used to do is flat out say at the beginning of a FP, "Hey guys, fyi this is my first run through of this." I've had enjoyable groups, where the "experienced" stopped, took the time before fighing a boss, "Hey, so here's what we need you to do." Doesn't take much. I find I have the least fun in a group where there is no communication other than, "****** man! peace i'm out you guys suck". Or voting to boot someone. FYI, I will never vote to boot someone so if I"m in your group and you do so, I will always vote no on that person. How else are they going to learn?

Disney is not going to get rid of SWTOR. They are going to however add mickey, minnie, donald, dasiy and goofy hats to the CM. As well, there will be a new patch that will add a new WZ where you have to win a dance competition against a Time Traveling Darth Vader. And I do believe Pluto will become a new pet.
