  1. Greetings! I know there is lots of ppl that want this and that fixed in the game, but I really wanted to let the Devs (in case someone of them is reading this) know: For me, GSF is actually the one of the if not the most fun and engaging computer game i have ever played. Ever since I played netwars so long ago, i wished there was a modern version with progressions etc - i really love it, and the developers and designers did a job most awesome! Thank you for so much hours of fun in my life!! All the best, Teskalra
  2. Cool videos!! Best Regards, Teskalra
  3. I think this is the best idea presented so far.
  4. Dunno i still kinda like the new expansion even tough it is short... but i am totally back in GSF )
  5. Greetings! Maybe that is the Problem? But instead of giving you progress for *won* GSF matches maybe there could be some middle ground? Where you'd progress significantly faster if you actually win? Just my 2 cents, Teskalra
  6. Greetings! Oh wow - that never happened to me.. I must have done something wrong because i chose saboteur but the game never again after Ossus referenced it.. Maybe I opted back by accident on the Corellia Mission..? hmm.. Thank you for the hint! All the best, Teskalra
  7. Greetings! Also -- as someone who broke it relationship w/ Lana for the old Companion - is this "normal" that no further thing happened after that? The old character is there as a follower but no cutscene ever mentions her or anything. Best regards, Teskalra
  8. Greetings! I was wondering - the Ossus storyline featured a way of secretly aiding the other faction - but at least from what i experienced, this story element was never again picked up. Did i miss something or was it just never again mentioned and / or used on the game henceforth? (Because I really thought it was most a most awesome idea!!) Best regards, Teskalra
  9. Dear SWTOR Development Team! I would kindly ask for a small feature that would be a huge quality of life improvement for some players of the game like myself. It seems to me that in order to calculate the display aspect ratio for the 3D environment, SWTOR queries the Monitor's EDID information for the maximum possible resolution of said device and then calculates the aspect ratio from there. Some monitors, like mine, incorrectly report a resolution as the maximum resolution that is only achieved by hooking up two (!) monitors together (which i do not have). Therefore, when I try to run SWTOR in my native screen resolution, all text and images are displayed correctly, but the 3D environment looks "squashed" because SWTOR believes I have double the vertical resolution than i actually have. This could easily be fixed by making SWTOR calculate the aspect ration from the current windows resolution of even better from what the user actually puts in the resolution config of the game. I kindly ask for this particular feature to be implemented. I hope this is not too hardcoded in the hero engine and can be changed. It would be great to get feedback if you plan to fix this or reject the idea. I also would like to congratulate you on your excellent support personnel and want to express my thanks to Kelper, one member of your customer support team. He / She was kind enough to dig into this issue and helped me figure out what is actually going on. Kelper was also kind enough to research a workaround (meaning patching of the EDID information in the windows registry and making windows override the monitor's information) but this breaks the FreeSync feature of my monitor so I really would ask you to fix it in the game engine. Thank you for making this game last for 10 years and still being awesome!! Best Regards, Asten
  10. Dear Nightmaregale! Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging words! My ingame name is Teskalra (on Darth Malgus) and I will definitvely have a look for you on the mentioned discord servers and will contact the guild task force gestalt - thank you for answering me!! Best Regards, Asten
  11. Hello everyone and thank you for your answers! The setting is not ticked, and I have given everyone full permission on the folder it is installed in - yet it still tries to start in admin mode. Maybe it is supposed to be that way.. Thank you all for your help! Best Regards, Asten
  12. Greetings! Does anyone else have this? My game (actaully, the launcher, but then also the game itself) only starts up in admin mode. It has been like this since i got Vista, and persisted all the way through Windows 10 build 1809 - but its reallyu bad practice! Does anyone else have this problem or has anyone found a way around this? Thank you for your time! Best Regards, Asten
  13. Dear Forum Members and fellow players! I am looking for a guild who does or mainly does galactic starfighter. I played swtor since the beta but i am not a very regular player. I recently resubscribed and have done some old story mode ops that i missed out and enjoyed them, but the aspect i love most about the game is galactic starfighter. I play an empire char on Darth Malgus who is a heal sith sorcerer. As i said i am not a very active player, altough i tend to be on at least once in a week. I think tough i played the game for quite some time I am still not very good at the "competitive" parts of the game - or any parts of the game come to think of it - and of course would like to better myself. I live in GMT+1 timezone and speak english and german. I want to join a guild because when I do find time to play some gsf matches I would love to do it together in a group and enjoy a common victory or bear the stain of defeat togehter. For the Empire! Best Regards, Teskalra

  15. Greetings! Since I am on a server that has a very low GSF-playing population (Jar'Kai Sword) - is there any chance we will get server pools for GSF matches anytime soon? I am sooo much hoping this "you can switch between pvp and pve instances at any time"-feature of patch 4.3 is a premonition of server pools for gsf matches coming soon - i really would love to see that! What do you guys think? Best Regards, Asten
