  1. Why does every GS and PvE thread turn to "its too much to program an AI..."? There is zero AI in this game, every PvE encounter is run by scripts. The GS is no different.
  2. No cockpit... No joystick.... Hold right mouse button to lock (if you have missiles equipped)...

  4. For normal content (and almost everything else) my G500 mouse is set to 1500dpi. For GS i found that 800dpi is the best for me because i still move my mouse 3cm left-right/up-down but now the pointer goes end to end in the firing arc not the whole screen.
  5. You would have to kill xy mobs anyway just to get to the class/planet quest line objectives. Side quest just set that xy number and give you extra reward.
  6. You do realize that making tanks wait longer than 30sec or punish them for leaving a queue would make you dps wait even longer. There would be 0 tanks on GF simply because a "/1 tank lfg hm fp" will get them in a party just as fast as GF does now. What you suggest would make GF a flash point teleporter for premade groups.
  7. It wouldn't have to be anything class specific, if an ability is affected by a proc its icon on the quick bar could change color. Not subtle glow but a blue icon turn red or yellow. Im sure it wont cost BW more than a minor bug fix.
  8. Just do the capture achievements with lvl55's and it wont matter if ppl "help" on your lvl15 alt. This is how i did it because i understand that its a pain for a geared lvl55 to sit around and wait while my lvl15 twink does hes epic boss fight against an npc that should be killed in 15sec.
  9. It might not be as efficient as finding a guild, do ops and forget FP's but the comms you get with you'r tank can buy dps gear. Rip the mods and put them in legacy gear (very cheap at any reputation vendor) and mail it to you'r dps char. That's what i do for my healer alt because the comms cap is low.
  10. Pug's are a pain in the a.... HM/NiM ops are easier with a guild. I simply refuse to waist my time and nerves on hotshots who don't know what "target of target" is or nuke the cc target and expect the tank to perform miracles just to save them.
  11. This. Content is there and lots of it. Its just that ppl will find something to QQ about no matter what. Who cares about new FP or OPS when i cant play Barbie dress up with my companion right?
  12. Those droids you have problems with OP are easy to deal with if you just run up to them and save force leap to recover from the knock back. Once you'r back taunt and tank as usual. If the mob lives long enough to push you again you'r jump should be available again but even if its not you still have aggro and can just run back. Low threat is imo the no1 reason why we have so few tanks. You have to be 100% on top of you'r game all the time to barely hold the attention of you'r target and the shortest brake in you'r rotation means aggro loss. Not to mention multiple targets. It can be done ofc but most players just lay back, hit that aoe and than flame the "noob" tank for loosing aggro.
  13. Endgame PvE content today are the lvl55 operations. There is a story mode for each of them and as long as you have 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 dps in whatever builds you'r group will be successful. Hard modes require better gear, more team coordination, more knowledge about you'r class and individual boss fights. Nightmare modes are there for those who like to min-max gear, specs, rotations, tactics. All you have to do is figure out what category you'r play style fits best and find a guild with similar goals.
  14. This system exactly promotes grouping. Since you get rid of competition by grouping its faster to achieve goals together. It all comes down to personal play style. Even that ninja looter that clicked the box half a second before me is a reminder that i'm playing with/against real live players not a bunch of npc. Its an MMO, player interaction is what sets it apart form single player games. Take away the human, good or bad, and swtor would be kotor with better graphics and a chat box. To that i say NO THX!
  15. That can be also solved within the game setting. Group up and have 1 box give the objective to 4ppl. This is an mmo. Players should work together, not asking for changes that promote solo play.
