  1. I know what you're saying, but even with dots I notice it doesn't trigger. And that brings up the other issue, it doesn't scale with the damage people can do now.
  2. As the title implies both of these are broken. There are times when enraged defense doesn't heal. This is particularly troubling in arenas where you think you're using a DCD, but instead end up dead because it doesn't work. Meanwhile, every other class' healing abilities seem to work just fine. Second, and this has been an issue for a while, leaping to a target sometimes results in you leaping through the world, through a huttball ramp, which lands you nowhere near where you wanted to be, or you will leap to a target and end up right back where you started or only covering half the distance, meanwhile you have to run to make up the rest of the distance. Other issues? List them below.
  3. I mostly play Veng, but I like to switch to rage every now and then. One thing I notice is the Fuming Rage proc does not last long enough. I can barely get it in after a Force Crush + Raging Burst. Do you all use Furious Strike before raging burst for the proc or am I missing something? *Edit I just played with it a bit and using Furious Strike before Raging Burst throws off the rotation significantly.
  4. Cut and paste only works if the letter was copied from this forum. At least from my testing
  5. I'm getting the same message. It's really annoying and has meant the difference in whether I win a fight or not. I'm also finding I can't use disruption at odd times.
  6. Bioware....This is the dumbest WZ to date. I thought the hypergate was bad. This is 100x worse. We ask for more PVP content so you send us an arena, which is nothing more than a large open area where people can fight. That doesn't take much brain power then give us this pile of garbage. A few things I see wrong: 1) The number of people in a circle doesn't matter so that means 1 player can hold a point off against 4+ players. That's stupid. I'm watching Sorcs who could bubble and hold, waiting for buddies to arrive. If you have more players in a zone then it should tip the scales in your favor. Period. 2) The map is so frigging big. Sometimes, I get to a node, see too people, then decide to try for another node only to get there near the end of the round. ***? 3) Bugs. Bugs. Bugs. I leap to targets only to get stuck yards behind them. Tried leaping up to a ledge, landed, then wound up on the ground. I've noticed some players appearing out of nowhere (friendly and enemy). 4) Ranged AOE can dominate. You put people in this 8 yard box what did you think was going to happen? 5) The map can be confusing. The indicators of where the nodes are located are hard to see and not well lit. You gave us lighted arrows in Huttball, do it here too.
  7. Whether it was $5, $10, or $100. This was a blatant attempt of theirs to cash in.
  8. I almost never post on the forums for anything. I don't expect much from this game and haven't since launch. I PVP and that's it; however, one thing I do enjoy is customizing my character, which is why the new anarchist pack (and a few other packs) interested me. After the latest round of disappointments with these packs, I'm done spending my money on them and Bioware owes its customers money after this latest, and most blatant, money grab ever. Yes, Bioware, this was a money grab. 30 packs in and I got doubles of crap items and these wonderful little items called "Golden Chance Cubes" that dominated the vast majority of my packs. They look fun, but in practice, they awarded me absolute crap. Old gear that's worthless, doubles of worthless pets, etc. If they are "golden" then should award gold level items. Needless to say this was your attempt at stuffing the packs full of junk so that the most diehard fans would buy more. My question is this: Are you intentionally trying to screw with your loyal fanbase even more than you already have? No, seriously, a customer service rep should answer this for us because if you're not sticking it in our rear ends, then you are urging us to go and buy credits from farmers so we can just purchase the items off the GTN. $40 worth of credits would net us the item we want plus some left over. I've been reading threads of a great number of unhappy customers and one thing I can say is this: You owe us an explanation at least and some form of compensation at best otherwise you will have a lot of customers thinking twice the next time they buy cartel coins.
  9. Why is a power augment more preferable than a might augment? I figure might boosts crit/power while power only boosts power or am I mistaken?
  10. Hi All, I am considering this gaming laptop to play SWTOR. Currently, I use my 13" macbook pro, but I can't play on anything but low settings and since this is the only game I play, I'd like to play it on high settings for the full effect. I was told that this laptop should be able to play at 40fps. Does this seem low or would this be fine with most settings on high? If not, do you all have any recommendations for a 15" laptop that could do the job for around $1,000. Specs on the MSI Apache: 15.6" FHD Matte Intel® i7-4710HQ NVIDIA® GTX 850M [2GB] 8GB RAM 1TB HDD 2+ Hours / 5.28 lbs 3D Score: 13,226 [Vantage] Thanks!
  11. I don't know about you all, but I do like the PVP here more so than in other games; however, there are times I feel like some matches become Player vs CC rather than Player vs Player.
  12. It's funny, I'm guilty of looking at sentinels as free kills and while we do get killed a lot, I don't think it has to be that bad. Sure, we will blow a lot of our defensive cooldowns in a fight, but if you're good then you can do some decent damage. Even as combat, I find myself hitting good numbers thanks to the insta-crit. Granted, to be on par you do have to be REALLY good with the class and known when to use your abilities, but the learning curve will be frustrating; however, it is also a rewarding class to play once you get good at it. Think about it. I love seeing how people show you respect for knowing how to play a sentinel and how surprised they were when you beat them handily. No other class gets that level of respect now.
  13. I knew it! Just last night I was saying that Force camo doesn't cleanse squat. Good to see some consensus.
  14. Is it me or are mercs able to simply walk away from Combat sents with the 15% speed boost? I'm not talking about their temporary speed bursts abilities, but to me it seems like mercs have a higher base speed. Maybe it's lag happening?
  15. Cool, that's what I figured. Thanks for the input. Not looking for a sever with a steamrolling pub population, but at least some consistent wins. I rolled imp assassin on JC and had success on that side, but I love my sentinel and don't feel like leveling a mara.
