this is a great idea and one i know champions and CoX (you'll be missed) handled with global handles. granted if used it would also be nice to be able to turn yourself invisible just in case you really aren't in the mood to talk to people. even if it did, how would you gauge it. SWTOR had the losses and it was reflected in a lack of monthly sub money. GW2 doesn't have subs (does it have a cash shop? i have no idea). but the lack of subs means that even if 3/4 of the people bought the game and then never touched it again, they could keep the hype from the initial sales, to an extent.

granted I haven't gotten far (a shadow to mid 20's) but I'm not entirely against the robes as is. although I wish we had normal long sleeves on the ones I've seen as opposed to the short sleeve with another tighter sleeve underneath

the forums are a lot of the people that can't get into the game because of the queues. because of the many, MANY people in the game having a blast right now. and me, because I'm stuck at work.

there's a few bugs, some serious (the taris mission tracker thing), most just minorly annoying (resetting my options to show Sith corruption every time I load into a zone). but over all I love the game. it's not the second coming, and maybe not the BEST. MMO. EVAR!!!!!!!111111oneoneone but it will still get quite a few of my dollars and hours.

it has the slave bikini, rep. side atleast. it cost around 5k per piece as opposed to nar shadda's 250, but it is avail. at lvl 14 and does t have the social rank 2 requirement.

I didn't /hate/ the prequels, but there are definitely things that I hated about them. Jake Lloyd - Anakin may have been fairly awful, but baby Anakin was almost painful for me to watch. Too many Jedi - I hate to say this, I really do, but it made the movies boring. there needed to be more non-Jedi chars. what would the OT have been without Han, Chewie, Lando, or Leia? as for more darth maul - I loved darth maul. I love ray Parks. but, (especially considering the director) I think I would have been too easy to over use him. better he died quickly when we were still fond of him than watch him beck e a broody charicature of himself.

It sounded like less an issue of people wanting their gear to not change as it gave the impression of less different types of armor in the game. cause most of the armor skins amongst similar types are just color swaps, especially among boots and what not. it really wasnt the best reason IMHO, but they said it will come back soon once they get it working more how they want. or we complain enough.

^agree^ this is what I been saying. until then let's hope that come release we'll start seeing more orange stuff up on the Galactic Auction House.

currently leaving garish and I've yet to see social gear i like, and is a bit above my social level in most instances anyways. also all the social gear I've seen is light armor, so really won't work for a lot of classes. as far as "easily attainable", a few scattered orange parts may be, but they are pretty limited in design. I'm (myself, no speaking for op or anyone else) not asking for huge things here, I think. just opening up the already existing system. compromise, see?

I get that - what irks me about it is having a lvl 10 piece of gear i love the look of and then having to wait until lvl 30* to be able to find a crafter that can make the orange version. (*numbers chosen at random) especially when the loot tables are cluttered with useless white and green armor pieces. if they made all the armor orange they could just add more low level (white quality) mods in to make up for it - more people he the looks thy want, and still have to work for stats that are better than "meh".
