  1. Thanks for the feedback. I guess I just hadn't tried since 1.2
  2. I'd like to suggest that a future legacy perk would be the ability to mail items to cross faction characters within your legacy. I've taken a lot of time to build up crafting skills etc. but cannot use my own account's skills to easily transfer items to my other toons that happen to be a different faction. I don't see that upsetting any sort of faction balance. Thanks!
  3. I am running Vigi Guardian in PvP and I wreck shop. I agree with the previous poster that if you are only looking at damage done then you will be disappointed. But if you like to be in the top 3 in medals almost every WZ then you will love your Guardian.
  4. I am giving something a go now that is similar. 7/32/2 (might be same he may have just wrote the 2nd tree numbers wrong) http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500RrZfMrorhddGkZM.1 A poster in another thread got me thinking that the free spammable aoe snare from Freezing Force would be good for firing off Master Strikes and keeping my prey from escaping.
  5. Like the "Vigilent Leader" build above, I prefer my "Crusader" build you can find here http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=417261 It preforms well in both PvE and PvP
  6. Thanks for the nod to the "Crusader" spec. How you liking it so far?
  7. I'm sorry I should have been more clear. I usually PvP more than anything as I level up so I didn't really mean as PvE. Granted I know PvE based specs are better for PvE leveling but I generally just build up the PvP spec I am going for so I can use it's features along the way in WZ's because PvE content is typically cake. *editied because I realized I typed "typically" way too much**
  8. Thanks! This was the comparison info I was looking for. I have been leveling up in the "Iron Fist" simply because it was described as more of a "mobile" spec by Taugrim which is more to my playstyle and it was in the final days of the Parakeet so I didn't want to bother with a spec that was dying anyway. I have a Gunslinger that is Sharpshooter/Sabo build that I love for PvP dps but it's severe lack in mobility drives me crazy unless I have a pocket healer. So I guess I have shyed away from deep pyro because it sounds more of a range spec with more dependence on cast time abilities. I look forward to trying this spec but atm I am lvl 28 (rank 19 valor though so I pvp a good deal with this toon), do you have any advice on which side of the build to skill up first as I go?
  9. I know you have been typically deep pyro before and after testing this spec but I would like to hear from anyone who was/is running "Iron Fist" compared to this "Maverick". I know Iron Fist is more of an objective defense/utility box type spec and the comparisons might be apples to oranges but still interested to hear none-the-less. Thanks!
  10. I think the main reason I skipped that talent was because I like having Second Wind as a backup "oh s**t button" self heal in case i need to buy myself time defending an objective until backup arrives. Also I like having the buff to Force Sweep damage and lowering it's cooldown since I have the free Force Sweep talent. I like Freezing Force and use it in 1v1 fights I get into but I guess it was just personal pref. for what I wanted to get in the Focus tree. I might like it more if BW would change the mechanics of Opportune Strike to be able to be used on players though.
  11. As I mentioned in my other thread, I take Second Wind because I prefer to have it as an "oh s**t button" self heal if I need to buy myself some extra time to hold an objective until backup arrives. If Second Wind is so useless then tell me where you would put the 2 points? Burning blade? Meh, the DoT is not enough for me to get excited about. Victory Rush? Meh, 1 extra focus point doesn't mean much to me either. So if you are going to be high and mighty and tell me that I am misguided, then again, I ask what would you do differently. As far as my post to name the spec, I dunno, I like to have fun. I play a powertech also and in those forums they like to come up with creative names for their builds, ie "Carolina Parakeet", "Iron Fist" and "Maverick". So if your beef is that I came up with a name for my build based on the first thing Google pulled up for "2 32 7" then I don't know what to tell you. Wait, yes I do. Lighten up...
  12. Explain yourself. You've made general remarks but no reason backing up why or what you are talking about. If you are talking about Second Wind, I have explained that before. If you are talking about something else, then please elaborate. Generic statements with no substance mean nothing.
  13. I prefer my "Crusader" vigilence pvp build in this link here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=417261 As far as Gather Strength not being useful, I disagree because although it says next melee attack, it also says "next melee attack that uses focus". This is Overhand, Plasma Brand etc so it will be useful. Also, I like to have defiance because generating 4 focus while stunned, slept or immobilized is helpful because alot of that happens in pvp and you can pop Focused Defense while stunned etc to get damage reduction from Commanding Awe and the small heal that comes from FD that takes a point of focus each time it ticks while this talent builds it back up.
  14. For those asking to post what his trees look like please see above.
