Sounds like you're just bad at the game.

You do know what "random" means right? It's called "progression". You do content for gear that will allow you to progress to the next tier of content, where you will get gear to progress to the next tier of content. Hell, with Galactic Command you can even skip content and go straight to the hard stuff if you're good enough!

You have 1 year of real time to gear up. RNG isn't going to be a problem.

No I'm not projecting. I artificially gimp myself to make the game harder. I don't need rewards to incentivize me to make the game harder for myself. I make the game harder for myself because I enjoy playing a a harder game. The options are there to make the game harder, yet you refuse to use them and come on the forums and complain that the game is too easy. I can only assume it's because you don't really care about making the game harder, you just want to be rewarded for doing harder content.

All those F2P's and Preferred players can sub if they want to play. Boom, population problem gone. The stringing chapters thing? Bioware asked the player base before 4.0 launched if they preferred regular content updates or larger, less regular updates and the player base elected monthly updates. Unfortunately monthly updates didn't give Bioware enough time to develop other parts of the game (no surprise there). The players asked for monthly updates and the game suffered for it, just like everything else the player base has asked for. As for millennial scum? They've been sabotaging this game since launch with their incessant whinging. This game will be far better off without them regardless of the lost revenue.

It saved the game before. Now it's not needed. The game doesn't need saving.
