  1. Whatever you do don't mention dark side jaesa, she goes cray cray over her .
  2. Well, to spice things up a little bit I thought I would once again post the opposite of another forum title here to hopefully add some interesting discussion. We know from this thread what people do not want featured in a expansion and the focus of the story to shift, but I feel that alone isn't enough feedback, I feel we should add what we want to experience and anticipate as well. What lights up that bulb of yours, what gets those gears grinding, what gets those endorphins pumping? What do you look forward too? what do you want to see? where do you want the focus of the game to shift more towards? lets get those ideas and speculation going. Ill start it off here first... even though in the previous thread I stated that ( which im sure will happen a bit in this one) I don't care where the story is going and I worry more about the quality, Im curious to see how Theron will intersect and act in the 6.0 expansion. Will he return at all if you left him to die? what will his role and impact be on the coming story? will his mother Satale have to confront him if he turns to the darkside? Im also looking forward to the planets we can explore next, will we ever get kashyyyk? Maybe a appearance on the actual planet of Mandalore itself? perhaps a further expansion in current planets to expand more on the lore and story of past planetary quest incursions. Lastly I can't forgot looking forward to a good ol operation with some amazing mechanics and previous work like GOTM along with some flashpoints of the quality similar to SOR.
  3. I'm relatively fine with whatever direction they take the story, as long as its well told, fits in the lore, and isn't pulled out of no where. However I don't want - A gear threshold that can't directly be obtained with gear alone when pertaining to Galactic Command ( IE having to grind tons and tons of assembled components for 252-258 gear rather than getting the gear piece itself in the box.) - Meaningless level cap, ie take away your skills and giving them back later. I'm Ok with new abilities, but not a senseless reset. - RNG or RNG being exciting - Anything similar to uprisings, they have no rhyme and mesh with any real trinity other than throwing globs upon globs of adds at you and spamming circles, and it takes the pace and control of the players when compared to flashpoints.
  4. Wow... im going to miss Stan Lee... what a legend in the comic book business and storytelling business. I hope he's having a good time in heaven, he sure deserves it.
  5. Need to sub for post kotfe chapter 2 and for kotet, ref links won't count im afraid. Keep in mind you only need to sub once for all the current story content in the game, I advise doing that wen you get a chance. Although the story isn't as good as the previous expansions, it's still worth playing and experiencing the new characters, worlds, and environments.
  6. RNG tier 4 needs a major buff for 248 or to raise the cap to 400 and make it the higher tier 4 level you are, to increase the chances of getting 248 gear. That along with a increase drop in schematics, BOL mods, and enhanced CMT drop rates.
  7. ^This. Fleet may not be the best way to measure population, but it's the best tool we have right now. Yes... there are strongholds, queues, quests, etc. etc. but the fact still remains that people stand around the fleet doing something/nothing all the time no matter the update. Not to mention have you actually been to some strongholds? most don't even have double digit numbers.
  8. I think they were referring to standard character names rather than legacy... apparently they have toons on all servers or a heck of a bunch accounts for each unique legacy name .
  9. Talon strikes has received a case of MCB syndrome, don't worry about him quite yet, it will pass over with time... hopefully... or else.... I will back him up and say that satele shan does see some rough pops at times for all activities, but surely not to the point where we need a merger quite yet. As to the OP... yesh plz. Two stories, one for imp and pub, a class specific mission or two with old school comps, replay ability, old companions being relevant with proper returns, and moar group content.
  10. I'm not quite sure where you got your information from... but for the average player, DVL was a very long process, and had a few hoops to jump through in difficulty. The DVL event basically required you to regrind literally the entire game making you do all eight class stories, run once through Makeb, sOR, KOTFE, grind every flashpoint in vet and mm, along with doing a handful of pvp, op bosses, and Gsf matches. Truth be told... I hated the entire premise of this "Event" as you regrind the game for RNG lootboxes, and you weren't even guaranteed a decent drop. You could of got nothing but bronze tier items for all your hard work and effort, however I did hear a few lucky souls get the emo ren lightsaber, good for them at least. Not to mention quite a few people queued PVP and Gsf and threw the match for there team, only going in to get a tick off DVL down, not caring about anyone else but themselves. Oh man... the PTsD is kicking in... all those people doing mm fps with me... wearing nothing but DVL gear with empty shells... the many wipes I experienced in tougher fps like BOR, BH, and DoM, spending 15-30 mins on one boss.... hrngngghgh. I will give credit where it's due however.... the DVL event did help bring life back into the game, people were queuing activities again, interest resurfaced in once old abandoned modes, and most people weren't losers throwing matches for their own self interest and at least tried to learn whatever there doing. A few of those people would later on have a new interest to pursue in swtor as this event encouraged people to get there feet wet.
  11. This^. Don't worry Keith, you picked the right choice here, better to make sure it's solid and enjoyable so it doesn't sour the experience to people who did it in his bugged inception. Just by chance.... will we get anything special for May the 4th? and any new rewards from the Night Life event? Thanks for the update.
  12. Yet LOTRO is considered to be in maintenance mode and swtor isn't .
  13. Tank change. Utility change Marauder/sentinel change New tier of augments Conquest update
  14. EA isn't completely to blame here, while I don't know the size of the staff working on swtor, Keith could of improved the game significantly if he listened to the community more. To give credit where it's due, they did size down KOTET by a third because people wanted more MMO content, and while a focus on story is alright, it shouldn't be completely at the cost of other core features of the game. Also to mention however... that while they did size down KOTET by a third... the story suffered a heavy price with some plot holes like the scions, that room in the gravestone, and lack of companion returns integrated in a meaningful way. They also added much needed sever mergers after two years, extremely late imo, but hey, better than never along with, after a long time, fixing Galatic Command. However... Keith could of done much better initially by not being so deadest with RNG on GC initially. People didn't like it under Bens vision, and people didn't initially like it under Keith's initially since he pushed a similar agenda, the gruesome RNG without a serious and realistic way to get gear through a reliable way. Yes, he raised the rates significantly to increase the speed you level, but it took them a long time to throw in a reliable currency to gain to buy the gear. He could of also like... listened to 90% of the feedback from... almost every single class "balance" change they implemented. Those balance changes were abysmal at best and didn't really fix anything in PVP and made it harder to complete end game PVE related tasks... not to mention all of these "balance" changes were made useless when they put in 236 augments. He should of went to the main problem of the classes, the crazy dcds and defenses of certain classes in pvp, he fixed the leaky faucet when you should of replaced the missing pipes. Finally... please Keith... get up the PTs server... just please... you need more testers so you don't get another disaster like the current conquest situation. Far to grindy, exclusive to one play style with lame rewards. The real main problem with swtor is the lack of accepting feedback from the players and has been quite sometime since around 4.0. Yes, EA may/is probably the reason for the lack of content, but while Keith is a good man and a player at heart, he needs to come to terms that not everyone thinks like him and to listen to the community more.
