  1. The damage output isn't spread out among the abilities of the class. A lot of the buttons you push are mostly for managing heat more so than actually hitting the button for a bigger damage number. When your filler button is doing all your damage you need to spread the numbers around to more buttons. The overall damage is fine, and on the other end of the coin if you interrupt Tracer Missile (Grav Round) then that player is going to be doing some sad sad damage.
  2. 1/10 World PvP could not be any more of a colossal failure. BioWare did everything you possibly could have done to create a dead game world devoid of PvP. We were promised good World PvP. I want my money back. Paid for an advertised good/service but didn't get said advertised good/service. I got something else entirely.

Don't roll Empire on Wound in the Force. There aren't enough Republic to get any World PvP. If you even see a Republic player you're lucky. I really don't want to reroll Republic but my guild is considering it just to get people to kill.
  4. It's a tie between EVE Online and WoW. EVE's sandbox World PvP is great. WoW's combat system (responsiveness, macro system, and default UI feature set) is stellar. If only EVE's combat was more interactive and engaging. If you were to somehow mesh the pros of EVE and WoW you could have an amazing PvP MMO.
  5. There are no complaints from me about the frequency of their patches. The faster they get their stuff straightened out the better. If they are fixing things fast enough to patch every day so be it. Get things done. The time the servers go down is just really orz.
  6. The coloring is terribad. Maybe absent is a better word. Like they forgot to color the models. They made sure to give the story NPCs vibrant color/contrast on their gear, though. Herp Derp.
  7. I think what the OP really meant to say was: A dead game world and poor world PvP in addition to requiring world PvP players to semi-afk WFs they may not enjoy for the necessary PvP gear is what's going to ruin the PvP.
  8. How do the other WC players feel about servers going down as early as midnight? It's pretty annoying for my guild. Feels like we're Russians playing EVE except downtime isn't less than an hour. Midnight is just a little too early. Push those maintenance times back to at least 3am or 4am PST please. :3
  9. BioWare promised us good World PvP... World PvP is a colossal failure in every aspect possible. It's like RIFT all over again. If they somehow manage to sort things out I'll resub, but until then I'll stick to EVE.
  10. History Channel, then we can have the Ancient Aliens guy with the crazy hair.
  11. When I finished Chapter 1 on my Bounty Hunter all I could think was "I want that female BH's outfit to be the level 50 PvP gear." It had vibrant colors and good contrast. It looked like they put effort into the armor. Then you look at the PvP gear and you just frown. Stay sad PvPers. PvP gear looks like placeholder art.
  12. The stupid Death Droids all over the place can really kill the mood, too. Why aren't they level appropriate? There also needs to be more elevators linking the Republic/Empire areas on Nar Shaddaa.
  13. The Trauma debuff could stand to be reduced by 5%, maybe even 10%.
  14. Try being a world PvP player, then come back and tell me your PvP gear progression is still slow.
  15. There is something a lot of people don't seem to understand. A lot of this seems to stem from people giving wrong information about "how things were" in WoW. Or rather, why they were the way they were. Let me give you guys the straight story here as a real old schooler. Let's start with this. If TOR didn't have WFs and PvP gear didn't exist, people would have to PvE for the best gear. That's how WoW was in the beginning. Everyone did bleeding edge content just for the sake of not being out geared in world PvP. PvE was a means to an end on PvP servers. When BGs and the initial honor system iterations came out nothing changed on that front. The reputation rewards and honor gear were not as good as high end PvE gear. The reason for that was no PvP stat. Having all the health in the world doesn't mean anything without the mitigation to back it up. There was no reason to do BGs or grind the honor system. Just carry some dragon slayers in the 40mans each week and get your loot. The only BG I ever queued for was AB, because it was the only one that didn't feel like some mini-game being played with your character. People on this forum love to give the flawed argument that you don't need equal PvP gear progression for world PvPers in this game. Those people could not possibly be more wrong. The existence of a PvP stat and related gear has already negated the old PvE to get PvP gear route that WoW vanilla PvPers had. World PvPers need to be able to progress their gear at the same pace as WF players by engaging in PvP on any planet that allows for it. Just like WF players need to be able to queue for whatever WF they want without any penalty to their progression time table as well. There is nothing logical with which you can argue against this.
