  1. Section X is one of those Dailies you grind for comms and credits but does get boring after a while. Most important thing about Section X is that it's where you start HK-51 quest if you want to get him as companion. One of things I found really worth buying is the mailbox and GTN kiosk in ship through Legacy Ship Unlocks which makes it account wide. Makes it convenient to buy or sell stuff gathered or crafted through crew skills. Now the GTN kiosks costs, i think, 2M even as sub so I bought it for 900CC left over from the free CCs I get as sub. They'll be cheaper if you buy them as sub rather than preferred. FYI, I did went back to sub now.
  2. I did lose access to Section X when I stopped being a sub and went preferred. I got to keep all 10 of my characters but can only activate six of them as preferred.
  3. Exact same thing happened to my system (slideshow in ops) and only fixed it when I realised that for some reason my system only has one core enabled rather than the four cores I have. Swtor is CPU intensive rather than graphics intensive. Check if your system is using all your CPU cores. You'll find this in Boot tab of msconfig tool.
  4. Hello Pinoy from Ireland here. I'm on the European, Progenitor server. I have 4 active characters there. Really enjoying the game.
  5. Well I guess since both help me, this brings me to the conclusion that I'll use them whichever has the highest modifier I find until I come across another with a substantially higher number. Until now I had the impression that Power was only useful to an SA or SW and not to a sorc. Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.
  6. Now this is good to know, surely changes what I've been doing all this time. Thanks again for the clarification.
  7. Thanks for the reply, BlameS I have to say I missed out using that hover over attributes thing on the character sheet. Will try that later. I reckon it will answer a few more of my questions as I interchange my gear and look at the changing numbers there. Simple but I did miss that. Thanks. I've done quite a few readings on the different modifiers but I kinda wondering why you're saying that as a Sorc, I won't benefit from Absorption and Shield rating. I thought that will improve my Static Barrier absorption, wouldn't it? Also Willpower will benefit me less that Power, I thought being my primary stat, Willpower will benefit me more. This I'm getting mixed signals now so needed more clarification than ever because I've been gearing up more on Willpower over Power when given a choice.
  8. Hi I'm relatively new SWTOR and MMOs but have been put putting enough time and reading on it for more than a month now and have come up to speed on it. Also lvld up my Sorc to 40 now. I just need clarification on the following. I know Willpower is my primary stat but does the Power stat found in mods ever improve my abilities in anyway? On those modifier ratings like critical, absorption, defense, etc, found in weapons. Do they kick in only when I use that particular weapon or will they add up to same overall rating for my char and benefit my other abilities? Meaning, say, I have 10 critical rating enhancement for my lightsaber. Will that 10 critical also apply to my abilities when I use them, like my Force Lightning? Would appreciate any enlightenment.
  9. I think he does mean 12 PER server. As sub you can create 12 characters in, say, The Progenitor server and another 12 in Red Eclipse and so on. To OP, I was in the same spot you were a month ago and when I went sub, considered deleting one of my original characters coz I didn't like the way I built her looks, but then thought otherwise. As others here were saying, you'll never know when you feel like playing that char again. Only consider deleting if you fill up the 12 slots in your server and you want to keep your Legacy links or share loot and credits between those 12 chars.
  10. Yeah, thanks for the replies. So Bonus series it was. Going through my normal quests now and do some HM and then I'll make a comeback for sweet revenge.
  11. Ok, I figured it out. I think I stumbled into a Heroic Area without realizing it. When I backtracked I can do damage again. Just didn't realize that Ivl34 won't do much dmg on a lvl40.
  12. I'm a lvl 34 Sorcerer and was doing ok going through my rounds of quests in Alderaan when I suddenly encountered a Killik mob that me and my companion can't cause any damage to. They're showing up as lvl 40 but I can't cause any dmg at all but they hit me and my companion and cause serious damage and we're dead in a minute. I was thinking this might be particular to the Kllik but then I moved around after and encountered guerillas which I was killing easily early on and still can't do dmg to them. Even a Vorn Tiger I encountered I can't cause dmg to. Has anyone encountered this in Alderaan? Is this a bug?
