Seems the only reason people have for hard factions are "WoW did it", "They are at war!" and "Shutup guy u r teh stupid!" Again. Lore doesnt matter. Bioware threw out the lore once they allowed people to roll Pure Blood Sith Jedi and force wielding smugglers. You people seriously gonna tell me that in a war you have ZERO communication and socialization between two sides? Again hard factions dont bring anything good to the game. It just artificially seperates the playerbase under the guise of "lore" which no longer matters in this game.

For a game which encourages playing alts the fact that this game has two hard factions which cant socialize only hurts the game. For example, Class stories makeup like 5%-10% of the entire leveling process. The rest is repeating the same awful side quests or playing huttball 1000 times. This problem can be helped by leveling alts on the opposite faction of your main but theres one HUGE problem with this.........your new alt cant join your current guild! So why waste my time leveling an alt thats on the Repub side when my guild is Empire? Of course some people will go but omgz we needed hard faction for teh story and you cant mix empire with repub in 1 guild cuz the lore guy! This excuse might have flown before they allowed things like Pureblood Sith Jedis and force wielding Bounty Hunters. Hard factions add NOTHING to this game and only discourage people from rolling alts on the opposite faction their guild resides. But Bioware simply had to have 2 hard factions cuz u know. WoW did it.

Legacy system is nothing but an alt-grinding feature

Yep they are a main character/endgame related time sink which add more character progression to an RPG! Omg character progression? who wants that lol its a grind grrrr! Much better to have us grind alts guy. Because thats less grindy? /logic:rak_eek: -

And if Bioware thinks that the legacy system is going to entice lots of gamers to stay or come back to SWTOR then they are out of their minds. An AA system would have been 100x more appealing to the average MMO gamer (and infinitely more appealing to the hardcore, endgame focused player). Mark my words. The legacy system will. be. a. failure. Book it.

You mean to tell me theres actually someone out there who finds dailies enjoyable and entertaining? Lol ok. Sounds to me like you are one of those casuals who say, "It should be about fun not loot!" and then come into threads like this and go, "why should only raiders get the best loot! I pay the same sub fee, why shouldnt I get a Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker?"
