  1. While I would love to agree with you about how the morality system works this simply isn't true. Not picking a specific alignment does indeed exclude you from many gearing choices. It would be amazing if you could simply role play your character and choose the responses that you think your character would actually say. However this is not the case, you must pick one side and stick with it to ensure you have access to gear even at the lower levels (specifically easy to access relics) As this is the new player help section you are half right in saying picking between the sides is irrelevant but implying that you can actually role play and just pick the morality choices you want is simply not correct, to make your life easier pick one morality and play it all the way through regardless of if your character actually would do that.
  2. The RATING number not armour class is different ? If the armour class is different ensure that both pieces of armour are the same type (light medium heavy) If the RATING is different between two pieces of gear using the exact same mod then it is indeed a bug. The whole point of custom gear is that if you put in a might armouring 11 into ANY custom gear it will have the same RATING.
  3. Orange items are indeed called custom. The appropriate crafting profession will create custom gear for you. Synth = Force Armourtech = Non Force
  4. Look at the "Rating" of the orange (called Custom) gear. Rating is determined by the armouring/hilt/barrel. The rating is what determines the "base" stats like Armour. A blue armouring 11 and green armouring 11 will not provide the same RATING. The custom gear does indeed scale all the way to 50, you just need to select the correct armouring.
  5. This is not completely true. The hood is also tied to your helmet, many helmets remove your hood (as in many helmets force your hood down) BW has said that the ability to raise / lower hoods will eventually make it in.
  6. You only have one primary attribute per class. Warrior/Knight - Strength Inquisitor/Consular - Will Trooper/Bounty Hunter - Aim Agent/Smuggler - Cunning This game uses gear to progress your character. As you level you will have access to more powerful gear which will make your character more powerful. You do not manually assign points like in some RPG games. The skill system allows you to customize and specialize your class every level from 10 until 50. Hope that answers your question, the short answer is you do not manually assign attributes every level, you use gear and skills to make yourself more powerful.
  7. Is the quest grey to you ? Only thing I can think of. What is saying you are getting 5exp, are you checking your actual exp number at the bottom of your screen or simply the flytext or the chat message. Doe all of these thing say the same thing?
  8. You won't need to install anything. Just activate your product key under your account ^ top right corner and you are good to go. Some people are saving them for a quick install if you say have a hardware failure and don't have fast/unlimited internet.
  9. Check the MY DOCUMENTS folder if you are using Windows. I am not at my client now but I believe its under TOR/Screenshots.
  10. Yes you can, I stole my girlfriends ship and she was angry.
  11. An interesting problem. In NA the `/~ is the key beside it. Maybe try binding an action to that? Seems dumb, but only idea I have.
  12. As people have said, currently you can only get one ship.
  13. I know you got your answer but the game manual has "some" of the tutorial stuff in it. I would imagine the codex has a list of the tutorials but I haven't tried that. http://www.swtor.com/gamemanual
  14. Might be a permission issue. Turning off UAC would be a quick way to test this. I am also not 100% sure you are allowed to use third party macros and key repeaters, WoW you officially were not (even tho they sold keyboards and mouses with that function)
