  1. I like the idea in principle. Though just as a thought would it not be much more manageable and more fun to have something along the lines of: 1 - you complete all 8 storylines (just as an objective example) 2 - this unlocks a new playable race 3 - the new playable race has an additional racial buff (say +1% all primary stats or something) Just a thought, as it would entice me to play the remaining 2 stories I have left.
  2. Guys I am at my wits end. Today is valentines day and as I am now officially married to Nadia Grell I thought it would be nice to give her something for all her travels with me. I thought long and hard and gave her some imperial memorabilia, and it did nothing for her at all. NOTHING. She was just completely ungrateful. I tried explaining to her that many Bothan spies had died getting that document but she was so cruelly dismissing, but she wouldn't have anything to do with it and an argument broke out on my ship. Things were said in anger; she told me I didn't appreciate her synthweaving skills, I replied that loads of chicks could sow and it wasn't something to shout about, especially that now that people buy more stylish clothes that hers from the CM and I would actually rather she had a 'make sandwich' crew skill. Anyway, she stormed off in a rage and went and found Qyzan and took him off on some mission. I heard her saying something about her having a raging Saarlac pit that she wanted him to destroy and he could claim it as a trophy. I haven't seen either of them for ages, but clearly she is just trying to make me jealous. What should I do? I could try to get back at her by flirting around Treek, but lets face it, if it got physical I'm gonna catch something - lice at best I would think. Anyway, sorry for venting but I just needed time off my ship. Any suggestions most welcomed.
  3. Seen a couple of people multiboxing lately. This doesn't bother me and I'm sure this has been covered somewhere else but just out of curiosity does this technically break the game rules or not? Nobody I ask seems to be able to give me a definite answer. Cheers in advance.
  4. Pffft. Listen to you all. Complaining about the ins and outs of where and when Nadia proposes. I HAD to marry Nadia. Shotgun wedding with her 7 months preggers. After the babe popped out it was half lizard and someone slipped a note under my pillow saying 'your prey is my prey bro...'. I dont know what to do. Think I might end it and in pvp try and solo a marauder with my sabre. :'(
  5. Same. Much as I'd love to no-life it for a while, unfortunately that pesky thing called work and life gets in the way. I get 2-3 hours game time a few times a week and thats fine for me, happy to pay subs for that. But not if I cant play the game because of 2 hour queues... looks like I'm gonna un-sub, and cant believe that I am the only one in that position. CYA Star Wars: The Old Re-Patch It. GL HF
  6. Guys - Bioware are doing a fantastic job. I dont come on the forums often, but as I am once again patching and my ISP is deciding to go into slow mode, I thought I would have a quick look. For my 2 cents, I personally love the game but cannot help but think there was a grammatical error at the first LucasArt / Bioware meeting. At some point the title of The old republic has been read over some voice recognition software or something, and Bioware have misinterpreted the SWTOR title as 'Star Wars : The Old Re-patch-it. To this end Bioware have done a fantastic job, as they are continuously repatching to solve glitches and coding problems, whilst simultaneously introducing more problems than there previously were with each patch. So really they are excelling in their production role. I just wish that someone could have pulled them up on this clerical error prior to the initial release date, as I would have prefered playing a stable version of this game on a windows 3.1 calculator, than a rushed out glitchy version that doesnt really work properly, and taints my view of my favourite franchise.
  7. Since I got the lates download after the 1.2 patch I have noticed that Bioware has changed some rather unsettling aspects of my computer. My computer fan is now quieter and emits a scent somewhat similar to Alderaan nectars. I have also noticed that my browser homepage has been reset to a dieting site which tells me about my calorific intake. And as strange as it sounds, I swear that the cushion on my chair seems to have more padding? Oh no, sweet jesus wait..... ctrl alt dlte, ctrl alt dlte
