  1. This is why hybrid spec is not viable. If you can't kill, you might as well go full Sawbones. I'm a DPS scrapper. I have no desire to heal, off or otherwise. I don't take any talents out of Sawbones except for the cunning increase. I shouldn't have to pick up healing talents to be considered worthwhile in PvP. My DPS and utility should make me of worth as well.
  2. These are the 1.2 notes: "Armormech crafters may now reverse engineer almost any modifiable outfit into an empty custom (orange) shell of the same name and appearance, which may now gain an augment slot when crafted with critical success." What does this mean exactly? Will we be able to take orange gear we got as quest rewards or whatever and RE them into a schematic? Then craft it over and over hoping for a crit? Or crafted purples can now be RE-ed into orange schematics? I've noticed that most of the best looking gear, imo, is not crafted. I'd like to make versions of it with augment slots in it. Will that be possible with 1.2?
  3. In Hutt Ball, a tank-specced Shadow is way more dangerous than a Scrapper. Ever watch one of them constantly pull people into the fire pits?
  4. Every time I see variations of this question, I find myself wondering how the questioner ties their own shoes each day without assistance.
  5. Scoundrels/Ops ignored again? Big surprise there.
  6. This. I've broken 300K a few times, and only during those WZs where is it one non-stop battle and I am attacking constantly with heals on me. Usually, I am 200-250K as a BM/champion mix. No way, even with full BM do I think I'd hit anywhere near 600K(which is what my guild is looking for for the rated WZ team) or the insane 900K-1 million that Sorc is posting in other threads.
  7. And it is official, my guild is not looking to include any DPS Scoundrels on its core rated War Zone team. It's nothing against the players or their skills. They simply lack the resources of the other DPS classes. Maybe BioWare will wake up when they start seeing only healing Scoundrels/operatives are making the cut.
  8. Most people play the game after work. Coming home after work to find the game down(your prime playing time) would be super frustrating. Having it go down during that time twice in one week is even more frustrating. I wonder if this is another downtime for the Weekend Pass like last week's late week patch. So again, pissing off current players to try to entice new players? Seems like bad business to me. But I see a lot of bad decisions being made. This isn't about fickle customers or anything like that. The devs either lack the resources of other MMOs(ie regional patches) or they are out of touch with the playerbase and don't care.
  9. When people like you talk, it makes me wonder if you even play the game. At the very least play a Scoundrel/Operative in PvP. In some cases, YES we can stay on a target we are attacking. Hutt Ball changes all that. With all the KB abilities, we you get knocked off the catwalk, you are out of the fight. Other classes can pull the ball carrier to them, leap back to them, sprint to them, etc. We can't. Your snare ability is useless in these situations. Because of the nature of the Hutt Ball environment, it is easy to remove us from the fight. No other class has that limitation. Also, "stun locking" is going away in 1.2 I'd argue the point if we could even really do this anyway. It certainly doesn't happen to equal-geared foes.
  10. I'm strongly considering rerolling a Sentinel with 1.2. I'd start one now, but I want to be a Chiss.
  11. GAP CLOSERS FOR ALL CLASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *cough*Scoundrels/Ops*cough*
  12. Someone actually started asking me about Scrappers last night after seeing me perform in WZs. He asked me if it was worth rolling one and I had to tell him no due to the upcoming 1.2 changes. That depressed me.
  13. This idea would not help us in Hutt Ball which is where we really need a gap closer.
  14. A key difference though is a portion of our DPS is positional. If we can't get behind a target, that lowers our DPS quite a bit. That puts us at a disadvantage in fights like the Council one in Eternity Vault.
